“Okay then we’ll just pick for you,” she says.
“No.”
“Don’t you want to get laid?” Colt asks.
“I don’t need help getting laid, but thanks for your concern,” Dash informs him dryly.
“Really?” Kane drawls. I look over at him and I get the impression he knows something that we don’t.
“Shut it, Maddox,” Dash growls.
Kane shrugs his massive shoulders in response and I wonder what secrets he’s keeping. I make a mental note to ask him later.
“Okay, I’m going to give you your login info and password, and you’re going to give us your top five by Monday. Okay?” Fallon’s question is anything but, and we all know it.
“Poor guy,” Ryan murmurs and Fallon elbows him.
“Do you agree to go out with one of them?” Eden asks.
When Dash doesn’t say anything, I lean into Kane and he tucks me under his arm. “Sometimes when you stop being so stubborn, the most amazing things happen,” I say.
I direct my comment to Dash but look up at Kane.
“She’s right,” Kane agrees, voice low.
Without warning, Kane pushes off the couch and scoops me up into his arms. I squeal as I wrap my arms around his neck.
“I have to take my woman home and make sure she’s satisfied,” Kane announces and my face turns bright red.
“Kane!” I slap at his arm.
“I’ll never get over her calling him Kane now instead of Maddox,” Eden comments with a grin. She looks over at Colt. “What do you think, Law? Should I only call you by your first name?”
Colt slides a hand over her stomach. “You can call me whatever you want, sweetheart.” They exchange smiles and Eden covers his hand with hers.
“I love it,” Fallon says, leaning back against Ryan who presses a kiss to her temple. She waves goodbye then turns to kiss her man.
When Kane turns and heads for the front door, I catch a glimpse of Dash studying the screen of Fallon’s laptop, slowly scrolling through the endless women who messaged him.
And he doesn’t look disappointed. In fact, he has a very interested look on his handsome face.
With a satisfied sigh of contentment, I hang onto Kane as we step outside then pull back when the cool night air hits my face. “You can put me down,” I say.
“Nope. I’m never letting you go.”
His warm lips brush over mine and I tighten my arms around his neck as our kiss deepens. I will never get tired of kissing this man or feeling him deep inside me. When we finally part, I’m so grateful that we finally got over ourselves and admitted our true feelings.
“I want you to move in with me,” he says, golden-green eyes locking on mine. “When I say I’m not letting you go, I’m serious. I always want you by my side, Sai.”
My mouth tilts up in a huge grin. “Really?”
“From now til forever,” he murmurs.
“Then take me home,” I whisper and begin nuzzling the side of his neck.
“Always, my Sailor Moon.”
Above us, the huge, full moon shines bright and white, and I know without a doubt that if I asked, Kane Vicker would lasso it just for me.
