Hooking her legs around my hips, she urged me to continue moving. Even after having the energy sucked straight out of her twice, she still clung on.

“I’m all yours,” she agreed happily. If I got a good look at her face, I could bet she’d be grinning ear to ear. She clung to me like a monkey, refusing to let go until I was ready to collapse against her. If she kept telling me what I needed to hear, I wouldn’t last long at all.

Cursing against her ear, my thrusts grew uneven. Pumping my way in and out of her, my head grew dizzy.

As if knowing what was coming, her ankles crossed at my tailbone. Tugging me forward, a giggle bubbled passed her lips. Damn irresistible minx.

Flooding her with my release, I caught my weight with my knees and elbows before I crushed the poor woman.

We remained in that position for a minute, fighting to catch our breath.

“You seem too good to be true,” I mumbled against her throat. “Might have to go another round to make sure this is actually real.”

Frankie wrapped her arms around my neck, squeezing the next breath out of me. If she wanted to suffocate me, I never felt so pleased to go out.

Rotating our bodies with a grunt, I let her rest on top of my body. Her couch was a bit too small to cuddle on. Next time, I’d take her to bed. We’d be much more comfortable there.

If she actually had the energy to go again, we’d find her bed sooner or later.

Frankie

Today, we worked on cleaning up the basement. After making such a mess, we had to straighten up the chaos we’d created. After basically giving up down here, I planned on moving my search to somewhere more helpful.

Maybe my uncle had a secret storage unit somewhere, stuffed with useful information.

There was a sudden hard thumping from above, catching us both off guard. We’d been so lost in our own world that I hadn’t even thought about getting any visitors. People didn’t show up unless they were hunting for someone.

Marco looked pale, his fears showing right through his face. “Stay here,” he hissed through his teeth.

Not a chance. Not if it meant losing the man I loved. Twisting around, I shot forward. Hitting the stairs, I took two at a time much to Marco’s dismay. Hearing him call out my name, I didn’t stop until I hit the front door. Yanking it open, my next words caught in my throat.

A very angry giant was standing on my front porch. One who looked like he could snap me in half in an instant. The scar along his cheek matched his terrifying expression.

I wasn’t going to be scared, not now.Not while I could hear Marco thumping up the basement stairs.

“Where is he?” the man asked, not bothering to beat around the bush.

Terrible time to be at a loss for words. “Jimmy isn’t–”

Before I could even blow out my usual line, the man’s frown deepened. “You.”

Marco gripped his hand on my shoulder, his fingers digging deep. “Frankie, please. I need you to give us a minute.” There it was, a desperation in his voice.

We both knew it was going to be an end for us.

“It’s going to take much longer than a minute,” the man hissed, his anger only growing at Marco’s appearance. One look at his hands and I knew my lover wouldn’t be walking away unharmed if I left his side.

I parted my lips, digging my fingernails into my palms to ground myself. I didn’t fear Marco when he appeared in his life, and I wasn’t going to fear this guy either. Pushing down the urge to curl over, I stood tall.

“I-If that’s the case, would you like to stay for dinner?” I forced the words out, attempting to be friendly. “It’ll give us plenty of time to chat while I cook.”

Now the giant was looking down at me. God, I wanted to run far far away. Rather than scowling at me, he just looked confused. “Who in the hell are you?”

Before Marco could tug me away, I blurted the truth. “Marco’s girlfriend,” I stated firmly before my shoulders slackened. “I think.”

We never made it official. With everything being so uncertain, we hadn’t brought it up. Friends didn’t typically kiss multiple times a day, right? Or walk around naked.

My answer seemed to throw the giant off. He looked back at Marco, demanding an answer through a heavy stare.
