BDSM night was one of the nights where I allowed patrons to bring along their own toys and restraints, because we couldn’t cater to everyone’s specific needs. The bouncers made sure that they didn’t bring in anything that was against the rules or dangerous.

“Any questions?” I asked.

They all shook their heads.

“Good, let’s get ready then. The doors will open soon, and tonight’s going to be a big one.”

Fridays and Saturdays were the busiest nights at the club, but people came every night of the week. I had themes during the week as well, but when I wanted a big turnout, I chose a theme for a Saturday night. Friday’s theme was usually just “fuck and forget,” which allowed my guests to have a good time, escape reality, and live out whatever fantasy worked for them.

The bouncers dispersed, and I turned to Oaklee. Her red hair had been pulled back into a high ponytail, making her perfect jawline more prominent, and I slid my eyes down her slender neck.

She wore a skintight tank top tonight, with jeans that looked like they’d been painted on, and she was hot as hell.

She just didn’t know it. She had an unassuming beauty about her—she had no idea how incredible she looked—and that just made her that much hotter.

“Let me buy you a drink,” I said.

We turned toward the bar, and Jake appeared from where he’d been polishing glasses.

“What will it be, Alpha?” he asked with a grin.

“The usual,” I said. “And…” I glanced at Oaklee.

“Vodka tonic,” she ordered.

“Coming right up.”

While Jake got our drinks ready, I let my eyes roam over Oaklee’s body again.

“What brings you to LA?” I asked.

“I was born here,” she offered. “I left when I was fifteen, but… it’s always been home, you know?”

“Born here?” he asked. “Who were your parents?”

“My mom’s name was Aurora Gilbert. My dad was a nobody, who left before I was born.”

Her father was an asshole, just like mine.

“Hmm… Aurora Gilbert. The name doesn’t ring a bell.” Still, I wanted to know more. “Where were you until now?”

“Montana,” she said.

“What were you doing there?”

“It’s a long story.” She glanced at me. She’d stiffened a little. “It’s not a place with happy memories for me.”

Jake pushed our drinks toward us, and I lifted my glass.

“To coming home, then,” I said.

“And a good working relationship,” Oaklee added, and we clinked our glasses together.

“Let me give you a tour of the place before the doors open,” I suggested. “That way, you can take it in without beingdistracted.” I chuckled at her. She seemed so pure and naïve, which was a strange thing to be in a place like this. It was a breath of fresh air.

Oaklee’s cheeks turned bright red, and she took a gulp of her drink.

I gestured for her to follow me, and I led her into the party room where people took off their clothes and started fucking around. Couches huddled in various intimate circles, private high-walled booths lined the walls for more privacy, and a platform graced the far side of the room.
