"Did you two ever…" I trail off, but Josiah catches my drift.

"Oh, God no. We're just friends. Leo's…guarded." His eyes soften. "No one comes close to…"

"Close to…?"

Josiah shakes his head. "He's just really guarded. About as guarded as someone else I know."

"I'm not guarded. I'm busy."

"You're both things," Josiah says. "Come to think of it, Leo's both things, too. I don't think the guy ever takes a day off." He claps me on the shoulder again. "I'm just saying, I think you guys could have a great time together. And you're only going there for a weekend, so this isn't going to be a forever thing. Meet the guy. If you hit it off, hang out with him. Then just…see where it goes."

"Wait. Is this a setup?"

Josiah lifts his hands by the side of his face. "I swear it's not. I wouldn't make up shit about me and Hux having problems just to help you get laid."

That's true. He wouldn't. "Okay. Fine. I'll go."

"Great. At least one of us will have a good time this weekend."

I bite back the questions burning on the tip of my tongue. What's going on with you guys? Is he treating you badly? Has he cheated again? But Josiah won't open up now. Like he said, we'll talk when I get back.

"We've got the suite booked Friday to Monday," he tells me. "So you can leave tomorrow, or if that's too short notice, Saturday."

I squint trying to remember if I have anything on tomorrow. "I'll check my calendar when I get home. I think I might have a meeting with the studio in the morning. But I'll definitely be there on Saturday."

"Fantastic." Josiah claps his hands together. "I'll call Leo tonight and tell him about the change in plans. You're going to have an amazing time. I can't wait for you guys to meet."

He pulls me in for a hug. "And if you two end up getting married, I call dibs on being your best man."
