I absolutely can’t get hard while I’m going through the security checkpoint.

But everything I read written by Lu I reenact withusin my mind. I feel this urge for her. It’s in every cell like she’s the source of gravity.

My phone dings, but it’s not a message, it’s a notification from SD—I’m officially @MidnightLu’s patron. And this app is officially gonna send me to a loony bin with my obsession for Lu.

I tap my feet impatiently as we get scanned at the checkpoint, then pull my phone out and click the red notification bubble.

“You are obsessing,” Roey says as we start walking to our gate.

No argument here. I almost trot down the airport jetway, wanting to plant my ass in my seat and check the SD, a smile of anticipation on my lips.

@MidnightLu:

Hi, guys, I’m writing a new romance. Yes, it will come in chapters. It’s quite different from my previous works, but I think you’ll fall in love with the main character. It’s a slow burn that turns into a blaze in the second half. So, be prepared!

Expect the first chapter to drop any time soon!

The blurb and the intro are below!

Muah!

Lu is upping the spice. Interesting. I eagerly dive into the blurb.

What do you do when a hot stranger saves your life one night?

You let him walk you home.

You find out he is an accountant.

He looks hotter than sin and vaguely familiar, though you can’t place his face and can’t help feeling he’s hiding something.

What do you do when he says he’s new to the city and is looking for a room?

You tell him that you have a room for rent.

So, here we are.

John Temple is now my roommate. And in a short time, he becomes my close friend, my muse, and my obsession.

But I am a good girl. I don’t cross forbidden lines. And I don’t chase the hot guy who seems to pull back every time sparks fly between us.

He’s so close yet so far.

Until he isn’t.

Until the night he knocks on my bedroom door, and I let him in.

The night he closes the torturous inches between us, I realize that my body is as addicted to him as my mind, and my heart follows.

But soon, I learn his dark secrets, and my world spins on its axis.

I shouldn’t have opened the door that night.

I shouldn’t have taken him in as my roommate.

Because good-hearted quiet accountants don’t carry guns. Nor do they make people disappear.

His secrets come frommypast. And I might be his next target.
