I peered up at Greer. “Kind of like Dex and you are who I need.”

“Just like that.” He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine in a chaste kiss.

I felt Dexen’s approach before I saw him. I always knew where these two were if they were in the same room as me. I didn’t need to see them. I could sense them.

He kissed Greer then me. “You’ve got a bit of glitter in your hair, JJ.” He started to brush it off, but I knocked his hand away.

“It’s going to be there until the end of time. Fucking glitter. If it’s on my cock, one of you is licking it off.”

Dexen cocked an eyebrow. “Was that supposed to be a threat?”

“It’s a promise.”

“What if there’s no glitter?”

“I still want a mouth on my cock.”

Sierra stopped in front of us. He was one of Dexen’s dancers. “I hear you’re looking for a willing mouth.” His gaze raked me from head to toe and back up again.

Dexen growled. It was one of the sexiest sounds he’d ever made. “Don’t make me fire you.”

Sierra laughed and continued on his way. He was hot, sure, but he wasn’t who I wanted. Plus, I was certain he did that to rile Dexen up.

Music played softly, nothing like the heavy beat when one of the dancers was on stage, which they would be soon. Dominic was going on first tonight. He planned on heading home to celebrate properly afterward. His words, not mine. He told everyone during his speech after Dexen talked about how great it was to have Dominic in a bigger role at the club.

I put my head back on Greer’s shoulder and soaked in the serenity I felt. I’d never been this at peace. It had a lot to do with my dad basically freeing me from the invisible bond we shared. I still felt awful about what happened. He loved Malik and, in the end, had to choose him or me. He also pushed me away, not wanting me in that life with him. It had to do with him wanting me safe, but he was still my family. It tore me up sometimes thinking about him. I wanted to see my dad, but an actual dad, not the mafia guy who ran a business where he could be gunned down. Rarely did I get what I wanted though.

Except for Dexen.

Except for Greer.

If I had them, I had everything. We moved in together the weekend following Dexen asking us. I loved being at Dexen’s house in the past. It was calm, peaceful. Now I knew it was because I recognized it as a place I belonged. With him and Greer. I couldn’t separate them in my head if I wanted to, which I didn’t.

We were intertwined.

Our hearts beat for each other.

Our souls called out when one of us wasn’t there.

We were tied together.

And maybe one day soon, I’d ask them to spend their lives with me. We couldn’t get married in the traditional sense. I didn’t need to. We could commit ourselves to each other. Bind our lives together.

“What’s got you smiling?” Dexen asked.

“Just thinking about how much I love you both.”

Greer’s arm tightened on me. “We love you too. Always.”

Dexen cupped my cheek and rubbed his thumb over the stubble on my jaw. “We’re building something beautiful together.” He looked at Greer. “My heart’s whole again.”

Greer placed his palm on Dexen’s chest. “It was always meant to be ours. Just like mine was meant to be both of yours.”

Lifting my hand, I placed my palm on Greer’s chest. Dexen put his hand on mine.

We stayed like that, looking at one another, feeling the beat of our hearts. We’d been through a lot. Overcame our own personal shit. But we made it here. To this point in time. Healed. Whole. Loved.
