“What?” I say, grabbing my glass and taking another swig. “I’m having fun.”

Eva snorts. “That’s a lie if ever I heard one. You’re a fucking predator.”

I glare at her. “And what does that make your husband?”

Her cheeks heat. “I wanted Oak. That’s entirely different. I think Adrianna has made it clear she’s not interested time and time again.”

Grabbing Adrianna’s leg under the table, I squeeze forcefully. “Is that true, Adrianna?”

She swallows hard. “Just leave it alone, Eva.”

Eva’s brow furrows, but she does as Adrianna says. “Fair enough. Let’s talk about something else.” She tilts her head. “How about why Natalya still isn’t back?” Her attention moves to Oak accusingly.

“As I stated, it’s classified and not down to me to tell you.”

She grunts in frustration. “I’m your wife. You should tell me everything.”

As they descend into a martial spat, I glance at Adrianna, who is trying her hardest to focus on anything but me. “So baby girl, how are you feeling about our arrangement?”

Her nostrils flare. “What arrangement?”

“The one where you sleep with me so that I keep my mouth shut.”

Her jaw clenches. “You are disgusting. Did you know that?”

He shrugs. “You won’t think that once I’m making you come over and over again with my cock buried inside of you.”

“That’s never going to happen.”

My fingers dig into her thigh, making her gasp. “Then are you telling me to go and tell your family and everyone at the academy the truth?”

She glares at me with a hatred so deep it surprises me. “No.”

“Then you’ll be coming on my cock.”

She shakes her head. “I won’t enjoy it, that’s for sure.”

“What are you two talking about?” Oak asks.

Suddenly Camilla gets up. “Excuse me a moment,” she says, and then she races away from the table as if she’s trying to escape. No doubt Gav freaked her out.

Thankfully, her sudden departure took Oak’s attention off of me and Adrianna. I run my hand up and down her leg, making her shudder.

“So, Adrianna, how was your winter break?” Oak asks.

Her brow furrows. “As terrible as always.”

Eva sighs. “I would have loved to spend two weeks in the sun.”

Oak takes her hand and squeezes. “Maybe we’ll go somewhere warm for our honeymoon.”

She smiles at him, but I know Oak and I think she does too. He’s not the kind of guy who likes sitting on a beach for a couple of weeks getting a sun tan. “I know that’s not really your thing.”

Adrianna clears her throat. “Maybe we can have a girls’ weekend in Mexico one weekend this semester, preferably one when my family is out of town.”

Eva beams. “Sounds good.”

Oak growls. “Like hell, you’re not going on a trip without me to Mexico.”
