“It’s a boy!” He declares.

Syn is bawling, her hands covering her lips as she looks at the little boy. River is trembling with excitement beside me, Nico has the biggest grin on his face, and Kian is awestruck as he takes it all in. And then there’s me. I kiss Ripley all over her face when she falls to her side in exhaustion, telling her how proud of her I am and how much I love her. Syn cuts the cord, and the doctor hands her our baby boy, who she promptly brings over to his mother.

Ripley takes him in her arms, crying happy tears and stroking a finger down his cheek. He immediately stops crying when he’s in his mother’s arms as she coos at him.

“Look at you, handsome. Oh, you are just so beautiful!” She gushes.

He has a head full of dark, nearly black hair, the cutest little button nose, and chubby cheeks. Everything after he enters the world is a blur of commotion, but perfect as we all stand around our omega and our son, admiring them both.

Later, when we’re finally in a room and Ripley is resting, I hold my son to my bare chest and kiss his head. River looks at him over my shoulder, completely smitten with him and Syn lays next to Ripley on her bed. Nico and Kian went to find Ripley some food since she was complaining about starving before she started to doze.

“He’s so perfect,” River whispers, softly touching his hair.

“Of course he is. Just look at his mama.” Syn says quietly, smiling at Ripley’s sleeping face.

“Flattery will get you everywhere, Alpha,” Ripley mumbles out sleepily, making me chuckle.

So, not as asleep as we thought. Her eyes open and she gives me a sleepy smile before moving to sit up and holding her arms out.

“Hand him over, Daddy.”

“Yes, ma’am,” I say, standing up and gently walking him over to her, placing him in her arms.

She sighs, relaxing back against the bed. Syn lays her head on her shoulder, and River and I move our chairs close to the bed to surround them.

“So, have we decided on a name?” River asks, not taking his eyes off the sleeping bundle in our omega’s arms.

“Hmm... yeah. I think so. Finley. Finn for short. What do you think?” she asks, looking at each of us.

“I think that’s a perfect name for him,” Syn says, and River and I nod our heads in agreement.

“Happy birthday, sweet Finn. Welcome to this crazy world,” Ripley whispers against the baby’s head as she kisses him.

The barest hint of a smile tilts Finn’s lips up as he listens to his mama talk to him, which melts my heart. That night, when Ripley and the others are asleep, I stay up a little later, spending time with Finn.

Our lives are forever changed for the better, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us all. And it’s all because two omegas fell in love.

The End
