“No… that’s not…” Biggs tried to scold the twins, but he couldn’t stop laughing.

“We might need one of those flip signs for the back room that says ‘it’s been X number of days since the twins sexually harassed someone,’” Kai managed.

“Wouldn’t need to bother with the flip numbers. That fucker would be a personal challenge to make sure it stayed at zero.” Zane winked at him.

“I…” Biggs leaned against the bar, one hand on his stomach. “I can’t with you two.”

“Hey, boss.” Zane turned to Biggs. “What’s the difference between an erection and a cheeseburger? You’re not giving me a cheeseburger.”

“Now I want a cheeseburger.” River elbowed his brother. “Can we get burgers on the way home?”

“Sure can.”

“Still glad you bought the place?” Kai asked when we’d finally stopped laughing.

“I’m going to need to lie down after all this.” Biggs scooped a pile of papers off the bar top. “Here’s the new employee handbook. Read it, sign the back page, and bring it back on your next shift.” He moved around the room, handing them out.

“You know we’re not going to read a word of this, right?” Dash took a packet from Biggs.

“I know. Just sign it and try not to be morons in front of customers.”

“No promises.” Dash winked.

“You kids are gonna give me an ulcer.” Biggs handed Nick and I our packets.

“Sorry not sorry.” Nick looked at the papers. “You’re the one giving us homework.”

“Buy a business, they said. It’ll be fun, they said,” Biggs muttered and walked over to Kai.

“You love us.” He blew Biggs a kiss.

“Do I?”

“You do.” River held out his hand. “Any other videos? That one was hilarious.”

“Let’s pretend we watched the ones on discrimination and violence,” Biggs said. “Just don’t be dumbasses and make me regret this.”

“You got it, boss.” Zane rolled up his packet. “But you might want to get a new video series, and a player that’s from this century, for future training.”

“That task has jumped to the top of my list.” He tapped Zane’s papers with the extras still clutched in his hands. “Just bring these back on Friday. We have a ticket-only event scheduled for Sunday from ten until two. I need six dancers to fill the roster.”

“Who’s sponsoring it?” Kai asked.

“A wedding planning company. It’s a bachelorette night for some of their clients. And it’s a featured night.”

“Who’s the feature?” Zane asked.

“Stone, and another porn model named Bastian Lake. He’s out of Seattle, I think. Any takers?”

“I’m in,” Kai said.

“Us too,” Zane said.

“I could use the hours,” Knox said.

“Same,” Blaze said.

“Me,” I said.
