“You’re no fun.”

“I seem to recall you saying the opposite when I blew you in my garage on the way over.”

“I must have forgotten. Looks like you’re going to have to show me again.”

“Find us somewhere we can park where we won’t get arrested, and you’re on.”

“I know a place.” I quickened my stride. “Are you going to let me return the favor this time or force me to watch you and not let me have my fun?”

“Depends. You could have had your turn earlier, but you didn’t listen and came before I said you could.”

“You seriously expected me to not come while you were working my prostate like a magic lamp you were trying to summon a genie out of?”

“No.” He grinned wickedly. “I knew you would, which was why I did it.”

“It’s not going to work this time. In fact, I guarantee you’re going to be the one who can’t control himself and begs me to let you come.”

“You think so?”

“I know so.”

“Where’s this place?”

“About ten minutes away. And don’t worry, it’s isolated enough that you can scream my name as loud as you want without anyone hearing you.”

“Brat.” He dug his keys out of his pocket and dangled them in front of me as we approached his car. “You drive.”

I took the keys. “Ready to have your mind, among other things, blown?”

“Bring it,Seth.”

Caleb only used my stage name when he was in the mood to play. Heat gathered low in my belly as he adjusted himself.

“Oh, I plan to. Now get your butt in the car.” I untangled our hands and slapped his ass hard enough my palm stung.

“You’re going to pay for that.”

“I’m counting on it.”

He smirked and slid into the passenger side.

Loving Caleb was the easiest thing I’d ever done, and all the fears I’d had seemed so silly now. Yes, I’d been hurt, but Caleb was the most attentive and intuitive boyfriend I could have ever hoped for. He saw me, and he loved me exactly the way I was. He accepted my flaws and quirks and the things that drove most people crazy.

He was my person. The one I never thought I’d find and truly believed I didn’t deserve. He inspired me to be a better person and partner, and his love and support meant everything.

I was happier than I’d ever been. I felt like I mattered, like I belonged. Caleb wasn’t just my boyfriend. He was my soulmate, and I was so fucking thankful he’d walked into my treatment room all those months ago.

CALEB

I pushedthe door to Gray’s house open and trudged inside. His landlady was out of town, and we split our time between staying at his place when it was empty, and mine when she was home.

“Babe?” he called from what sounded like the kitchen.

“It’s me.” I kicked my shoes off and made my way to the back of the house. “Hey.”

He finished wiping his hands on a dishtowel and tossed it on the counter. “Rough day?”
