“Okay, but I’m here for you if there’s anything—“

“There’s not.” Her eyes soften as she reaches to pull me in for a hug.

“Listen, I’m pretty tired. I’m gonna head home.”

“Why don’t you go lie down in our old room? You’ve been drinking.” That’s the point of keeping our rooms here, after all.

“I’ve only had two. Besides, I kinda want my own pillow, not those cheap ass ones on a twin bed.”

We laugh at the memory of the bunny who thought if she made us uncomfortable enough, we would leave. Jokes on her. We’re still here, and she’s nowhere to be found.

“Okay, call me when you get home.” I smile at my best friend. There’s more to the story, and when she’s ready, I’m certain she’ll tell me. Until then, I’ll just have to be patient.

“Will do,” she replies and heads toward the back door, blowing me a kiss before she steps into the night air.

When I walk back into the main room, I spot Jude scowling toward the hallway I just came from. Good lord, will those two ever get along?

Linc comes and finds me back at the bar.

“Where’d Lucy go?”

“She said she was tired. I don’t know, though. Something is off.” I shrug as Linc grabs another beer.

“If it was something big, she would have told you, babe. Besides, I’m awfully tired myself,” he says with a little pout as he bats his dark lashes.

“Really?” I quirk my brow, giving him a deadpan look.

“No,” he laughs out. “Not really. But I am ready for bed.”

“What about your guests?”

Linc looks back to the new group of men already enjoying what the club has to offer. And by that, I mean the strippers and lap dances.

“Let the guys entertain the boys from Nevada. I have other plans for you.”

Since his plans generally include multiple orgasms, I follow him back to his room without any further protest. I’ll take Linc’s version of entertainment over anything going on out here.

And love every minute of it.
