“Why not just get Hazel to do the dirty work?” Sonny asked.

“Didn’t Xander tell you? Hazel’s brother works for the provincial police force up in Edmonton.”

“The fuck? She’s related to cops and she’s been at our place?”

Avery nodded. “Hazel has a history of fucking bad boys. But she’s never been arrested, has a good paying job, no issues with drugs, and pays her bills on time.”

“She’s never coming back here again now that we know her connection.” Sonny sneered as he shook his head. “Okay, so Galen gets Tyra to befriend Hazel, she comes to our parties, has sex with a few guys, and then somehow finds our gun stash and tips off Ray so he can pull the heist. We still don’t know how Tyra knew where the guns were at. Someone at the party had to have told her. Or shown her.”

Avery moved to stand in front of Tyra and slapped her face to wake her up. “Tyra.”

“Wh-what…do…you…want?”

“Who told you where the guns were stored?”

Tyra’s face scrunched up. “I didn’t have to do anything…not me…it was some-someone else.”

“Who? Who told you about the guns?”

“Don’t know. G-Galen won’t tell me…” Tyra’s eyes rolled back, and Avery felt her pulse.

“Her heart rate is slowing down, it’s barely there. Fuck, check her purse. I need to know if she took any other drugs.”

“She’s overdosing?” Sonny asked as he grabbed Tyra’s bag and began to rifle through it.

“Yes, hurry up.”

“Fuck. My way is better. Never fucking doing this again.”

Sonny shook his head he pulled out a plastic bag filled with small green pills.

Avery turned and searched the storage racks for naloxone. They kept it on hand, given that the MC manufactured, and accidents happened. She pulled out the kit, removed the plastic stopper from the syringe, ripped open Tyra’s shirt, and plunged the needle into her chest.

Ten seconds later, Tyra let out a loud gasp and came to. Avery checked her pulse again. It was getting stronger.

“Who gave you the location of our gun storage?” Sonny demanded.

Tyra shook her head. “I don’t…know. Someone else… Galen.”

“You’re dead anyway. We can do this the nice way or make it really, really painful.”

Tyra shook her head and tears began to stream down her face, mixing with mascara and casting black streaks down her cheeks.

Sonny’s phone rang.

He picked it up and quickly left the room.

“Just give us a name,” Avery bit out.

“Fuck you… bitch. There’s nothing more to tell,” Tyra whispered. “So stupid. So fucking stupid.”

“I’m not the one tied up, you are. I think we know who the stupid one is.”

“You know nothin’…” Tyra panted. “Galen is going to drive you out of business and take over the whole damn province.”

“Too bad you won’t be around to help him. Besides, he already has an ol’ lady.”

“She’s on the way out. I’m the o-one he loves. I…love him.” Tyra closed her eyes. “I’ll do any…anything for him.”
