She'd read that the card with their picture was used as identification to get on and off the ship, but again, Rowan doubted it worked that way for friends of the owner of the cruise line.

When the elevator doors opened, Lysander held Rowan back from exiting. All but one of their security detail did though. "This is their suite."

From the glimpse Rowan got through the open doors, the suite had a large living area with four doors off of it. The security specialists' rooms?

But her curiosity about the sleeping arrangements for their guards disintegrated into nothingness when she saw their suite. "This place is bigger than my apartment back in Athens. I thought cabins on cruise ships were supposed to be small."

She'd expected a suite and more space than the typical cabin. She was traveling with Lysander Baros after all, but this? This was over the top luxury and space.

The security specialist did his thing making sure the rooms off the main living area were empty. "All clear, Mr. Baros," he said.

Lysander nodded. "Make sure at least two men are available at all times to guard Rowan and I if we leave the suite."

The man nodded and left via the elevator.

"Pfft," Rowan said. "This isn't a suite. It's a luxury apartment."

Lysander's brows rose. "Is that a complaint?"

"You know it's not. This is amazing." She twirled and indicated the beautifully appointed space with her hands out.

Lysander grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in. Like he couldn't help but touch her. "It is Ariston and Chloe's personal accommodation."

"They keep a palatial suite like this on all their ships?" Wow. Just, wow.

"Not all."

"More than one though?"

He nodded, his eyes fixed on her lips.

"But…" Talk about excess.

"It is good to be king."

"Says one monarch about another."

Herkingbent and pressed his mouth to hers in a kiss that quickly turned carnal.

Rowan was breathing hard when he lifted his head and stared down at her with an expression she couldn’t begin to read. "You are too damn addicting."

"Pot, meet kettle," she teased.

But he didn't smile. Shaking his head, he stepped away. "Come and see the balcony."

Lysander tugged Rowan toward a huge sliding glass door that led outside. The balcony was huge, covering the entire width of their suite. With lounge furniture and a large hot tub to the left, as well as a family size table for outdoor dining to the right, it was easily as large as one of the terraces off Lysander's villa.

They were on the top deck of the ship with a 280° view around them. The wall surrounding the balcony was clear, which surprised her.

"I would think someone like Ariston Spiridakou would be more intent on his privacy."

Lysander pressed a button on the wall by the door and the walls around the terrace went frosted and opaque.

"Ooh, clever." She stepped into Lysander's personal space. "I can think of something we could do with the privacy."

Lysander took a step back, away from her. "I need to do some work as long as we're in port. Why don't you get settled?"

He disappeared inside the suite.
