It had been so hard not to stop in and see them. He’d been following them and giving them cover for the last two weeks, and he’d wanted to break cover so badly to say hello.
They had been through so much together.
Elizabeth took over.
“Only, he’s not here for just a reunion. I’d like to formally introduce you all to Reaper. He’s special forces and works for the CIA as a Spider.”
Adder and Mamba both gasped.
Like Snakes, the Spiders didn’t mingle. Reaper, Wolf, the Huntsman, and Recluse were solitary agents of chaos.
If there were two in a room or more, it was bad.

Now, Adder and Mamba pulled their guns, freaking Zayn out even more.
“The ladies love me,” Lewis said. “See?” he asked. “I get that reaction a lot, but most of the time, no one lives to see the outcome.”
Yeah, there were some stressed Marines in the room.

“At ease, Marines,” Elizabeth said.
Only, Zayn wasn’t feeling very at ease. When Jinx and Eve reacted that way, that meant one thing.
