I shot the VW president a quick look before Demon continued. "There's trouble brewing."

I raised my brows, but he didn't elaborate, so I turned my smirk on Trip. “Fuck, who’d you piss off?”

“Same thing I asked,” Cole snickered. “Turns out it’s an old enemy of both our clubs.”

LD growled in his signature gritty voice, “Fucking Wild Bandits.”

LD was one of the scariest fuckers in the club.

Shit!My expression became as serious as theirs as I glanced around the group. Wild Bandits was everything their name implied. A one-percent MC based out of New Mexico, but with chapters in California and Texas. They were heavily involved in sex trafficking and drugs, and they didn't draw the line there. They were bad news. Once they set their sights on something they wanted, they were ruthless and deadly in their mission to get it.

"Haven't heard that name in a long time," I admitted.

"Yeah," Sax said low, and then his eyes fell on something, and he added in a rushed voice, "We better change the subject till church. Our old ladies are beginning to give us the stink-eye."

We all turned to look in the direction that he was. Holly, Jolene, Bobbie, and Raven were standing there with folded arms and a warning flash in their eyes that all but said, "You better not be talking business."

I laughed at my pussy-whipped brothers. Their old ladies had well and truly domesticated them, but I could see the appeal. Their women were beautiful and had embraced the MC way of life. I glanced beyond them to the playground. It looked like we were running a daycare with the number of kids that were running around. Looked like Vegas Watchdogs had brought some of their rugrats, too.

A squeal drew my attention in the opposite direction, and I watched Lulu and Millie embrace as if they hadn't seen each other in years. Lulu had brought Buttercup and the dog, along with little Lilly, who took off excitedly toward the playground. Lulu looked like she was about to pop out her son at any second, and when she stepped back from Millie's hug her hands automatically cradled her belly. Savage whispered something into her ear and then walked off into the direction of where Loco and Bull were conversing.

"We'll discuss it at church later," Demon finally said.

"Daddy! Daddy! Look at me!"

All eyes swung toward the playground to Sax's daughter, Ava. She was swinging high next to her little sister, Rosa. Sax had come a long way from the days when he hadn’t wanted a family, especially not one that included children. Just another brother who'd been conquered and tamed by a good woman. I wondered if my time would come, but didn't hold out hope. I might fuck around when the need arose, but I couldn't see myself tied down with anyone but Harlow.

It didn't matter where she was—if she was within my vicinity, something always drew my eyes to her. Like now. I watched her rounding the corner of the clubhouse and coming toward us in her flowery sundress and sandals. Her hair was soft and hanging loose about her neck and shoulders, and she had a smile on her plump lips that made my dick jerk. I pressed my lips because I would have liked nothing better than to run my hands through her hair and pull her in for a kiss that would leave us both breathless. And the way her dress moved around those pale, shapely thighs when she walked made another visual fill my mind, one of her legs wrapped around me as I lifted that skirt around her waist so I could get to her pussy.

I'd left my practice to get away from her, and for the first time I began to wonder if I'd have to leave my club, too. Maybe turn nomad. I swung around before we made eye contact, my gaze automatically searching out Mitzi before remembering that she was busy in the kitchen with the other club whores. It was just as well. I wasn't in the mood to put up with anyone right then.

My brothers had left to join their women, leaving me with Murphy and Trip.

"Damn, Brother, that is one fine looking woman," Murphy commented. I didn't have to look to know where his eyes were at. "I don't see no wedding ring. She an old lady?"

"She's off limits," I said, crossing my arms, before it occurred to me what he'd said. I snapped my gaze back to Harlow and narrowed my eyes on her hands. Murphy was right, But there were any number of reasons that she wasn't wearing her wedding rings. "I'm telling you, she's off limits," I repeated with a little more grit.

Both men stood silently for a minute. I didn't like the knowing look in Trip's eyes, but he wisely kept his thoughts to himself. Besides, whatever was going on in his head, he was only guessing. Murphy gave Harlow a last, lingering sweep and said with disappointment, "Whatever you say, Brother. Some man's a lucky fucker."

I clenched my jaw, unable to acknowledge his comment. It fucking gutted me to know that Harlow belonged to another man. That another man got to love her, touch her, rock her world. And as much as I wanted to change all of that, I couldn't. It was time to accept that.

I had to move on if I was going to keep my sanity.
