He nods excitedly.
“I want you to know that I love you the most in the whole wide world. I love Louis, but you’ll always be my favourite.”
“I’m going to tell him that,” he giggles.
“You can if you want. It’s no secret.” Laughing, I stand up.
He takes my hand, and we begin walking in to the softly playing music. The sight of Louis in a suit is mesmerizing. He’s already warned me that he’ll be changing once the ceremony is done, and I’m more than fine with that. Him stepping out of his comfort zone just for me means everything.
He compromises for me, and I have no problem doing the same for him.
The second his eyes meet mine is the second I know this will forever be the best decision I ever made.
Thomas goes to sit with Olivia and Chaos as I join Louis at the altar.
“Evie,” he whispers, clearing his throat. “You’re perfect.”
Smiling, I say, “As are you.”
Our lives may not be perfect to others, but to us, we’re pretty bloody close.
