And there she was. ‘Fuck, she was gorgeous,’I thought to myself as I watched her. She was chewing on her lower lip as she concentrated, a little crease between her brows as she read whatever was on the screen in front of her. I rested my shoulder against the doorjamb. Content to watch her for as long as I could. I’d never before felt this way about leaving anyone. I knew it was only for a night, but now that we were finally on the same page, all I wanted to do was spend some time with Molly without other bullshit getting in our way.

“Are you going to stand there all day? You’re making the place look untidy,” the little shit said with a mischievous grin in my direction.

Her eyes widened as I pushed away from the doorframe and sauntered to the desk, ignoring her yelp as I picked her up and sat down in her chair before settling her on my lap.

“What the hell, Draco,” Molly slapped my chest with the back of her hand. “Stop manhandling me,” she grumbled, but not before grinding her luscious arse against my dick, making him stand up and take notice.

With a groan I held her still with a firm grip on her hip, “Firecracker, don’t start something you are in no position to finish,” I cautioned.

“Fine,” Molly pouted, settling back against me with a sigh and resting her head against my chest, but not before pressing a kiss to the underside of my jaw.

My heart warmed. Pressing a kiss to her head, I sat content to hold her while she flipped through her emails, marking those to be dealt with.

Hearing the growl of motorbike engines getting closer, I sighed and tightened my arms around Molly, knowing that I needed to get a move on.

“Thanks for packing my bag, Molls.”

Molly tilted her head back against my shoulder, and her eyes softened. She cupped her hand to the back of my neck, pulling my head closer to hers. “You’re welcome,” she whispered against my lips.

I deepened our kiss, our tongues entwining as I pulled her closer and her fingers tightened in my hair, pulling slightly. We were so lost in each other we didn’t hear Dragon enter until he spoke from the doorway.

“Yeah! I’m not sure I’m going to get used to this,” Dragon declared with amusement. “I keep expecting to find Draco tied up and gagged because he’s pissed you off, Molls.”

Ignoring him, I finished kissing the woman in my arms, lifting my head to look at her. I found her eyes gleaming with amusement at Dragon’s comment. Pressing another soft kiss to her lips, I tapped her thigh and helped her up into a standing position between my legs.

“I’m sure you’ll find me like that one day, brother,” I informed Dragon with a grin, “I’m bound to piss her off again one of these days. Plus, I like that my woman is a firecracker. She’s hot when she goes all nuclear on my arse.”

Molly slapped at my shoulder and glared at me, “I knew you pissed me off on purpose.”

I laughed at the look on her face. I knew she wasn’t really mad at me because her hand hadn’t reached for the letter opener that was laying on the desk near her left hand.

Turning my head to look at Dragon, I asked, “You and Cairo ready to go?”

Dragon replied with a nod of affirmation, “Ready, VP.”

Standing up, I wrapped an arm around Molly’s shoulders, and we followed Dragon out as he left her office. We headed back to the farmhouse where Navy and Cairo were waiting for us.

Getting to my bike, I picked up my helmet and turned to Molly, bending I kissed her before wrapping her in a firm hug.

“I’ll see you tomorrow, Firecracker.”

“Okay,” Molly replied, hugging me back before releasing me to stand next to Navy, who dropped an arm around her shoulders, “Ride safe, all of you.”

Getting on my bike, Dragon and Cairo were ready to head out, but I found myself reluctant to leave. Navy caught my eye and for once there was no humour in his eyes, “She’ll be fine, VP, I promise.”

Giving him a chin lift, I strapped on my helmet and started my bike, the familiar feel of her vibration running through me as I pulled out of Molly’s driveway, Dragon and Cairo bringing up the rear. My last glimpse of Molly in my rearview mirror was of her blowing a kiss and waving.

I smiled and settled in for the long ride. It was good to open up on the main road. I was ready to get some answers on this little fucker that was disrupting my time with my woman.

CHAPTER 11

MOLLY

It was quiet once Draco and the guys left. There wasn’t much to do at the brewery and Navy had it well in hand. As it was my turn to host our ladies night, I headed to the house early to get the food and drinks ready for when the Crow ladies arrived.

I had everything laid out and had set a plate aside for Navy. I knew he’d be in and out of the house doing rounds until the ladies were ready to leave. He’d already warned me that he would be popping in and out. It didn’t bother me, and I knew that it wouldn’t bother the others. We weren’t the type to shrug off the men’s need to protect even if we were more than capable of protecting ourselves should we need to. I had heard Draco giving Navy orders before he’d left, and there was no way I’d interfere with them.

I heard the cars pulling up and went to the door to meet them. Abby, Rea, Julia, Bev, and Avy were in the first, with Avy getting out holding onto sealed jugs filled with cocktails.
