To be used at a later time…obviously.

I wolf whistle and slap his ass as I rush past him. “You look hot for an old man. I just need to grab my clutch in the kitchen.”

Fingers inside my elbow, I’m yanked back, crashing into him. I wobble in my heels, but he steadies me.

Flushed, I blow hair from my face. “Stop dragging me around.”

“You didn’t even give me a chance to look at you. Stand still.”

Too shocked to form words, I roll my shoulders as he steps back.

Whatever he’s doing, it’s not looking.

I feel naked under the heat of his stare. Like a magnet, I take a step toward him, heart hammering.

He swirls a finger, demanding I spin around.

I do.

Because this man controls me with his own gravitational pull.

“Christ, red is your color, Claire.”

I moan when I feel his breath on my neck.

I can’t remember the satin feeling this heavy on my skin when I first put it on.

My head falls back, shivering against him when he moves my hair over my shoulder and presses his lips below my ear.

His knuckles feather my spine, and goosebumps dance over the bare skin. “Where’s the back of it?”

Blowing out a laugh, I spin slowly in his arms. The heels make it a little easier to look at him.

It’s not completely backless. The red satin dips midway down my back.

With a devilish smirk, he cocks a brow. “Red lips too?”

His thumb reaches out to touch them. I rear back.

“Don’t you dare. You’ll smudge it.”

There are only two places I want to smudge this lipstick.

One would break a rule and the other—well—we don’t have time for.

“Let me guess, your underwear is red too?”

Straightening his bow tie, I run my teeth over my lip.

He stiffens like he always does when I do it.

You’re a tease, Claire, and you’re getting yourself in so much trouble.

“They would be if I were wearing any.”

We’re going to be so late for this auction.
