ALANA

Harry squeezes his butt into one corner of the first pew. Across the aisle, Emma is hanging onto the edge of her seat so she doesn’t fall out.

From the altar, our officiant looks out over the crowded chapel with an apologetic expression. “Sorry for the tight accommodations, everyone. These quickie ceremonies usually don’t have this much of an audience present.”

Fanning her sweaty face, Nadia chuffs a laugh. “Apparently, the Westbrooks didn’t get the memo.”

Everyone is jammed into the narrow, claustrophobic pews of the Kissy Kissy Bang Bang Chapel in Sin Valley, just across the bridge from Honey Hill.

Jasper, Emma and their daughter. Harry and Nadia. Nicky. Ziggy. Grammy. Mason (sansZara, thank god). His sisters and parents. My brother and sister. Meghan’s mom and her aunt Jane. Candace and her wife. Davis’s crew from the sheriff’s department. My people from the clinic. Other friendly faces from around town.

It’s almost overwhelming. In the best way, of course.

One great thing about living in Honey Hill? Its proximity to Sin Valley.Andits small chapels for spur of the moment wedding ceremonies.

And let me tell you, all three of us couples are in a rush to get married.

After his spontaneous marriage proposal last Sunday, my new fiancé—a.k.a. my hot ex-husband—got it into his thick, stubborn head that he needed to lock me down right away.

“I’m not screwing this up, Allie. We’re starting fresh here, and I’m not letting you slip away again. I won’t relax until you have my ring on your finger .”

I’m guessing that my nonstop traipsing around the house in skimpy lingerie like a horny housewife didn’t help matters either. The sex has beenoff the wall.

And there’s nothing lacking in the romance department. Davis seems to have made it his mission to sweep me off my feet every single day.

If I had known we could be this happy, that we could find such wonderful solutions to the problems life threw at us, I would have come to my senses a long time ago. Fear makes you do desperate things. But I’m not scared anymore. I trust in the power of Davis’s love for me and mine for him. I won’t let anything come between us again.

Anyway, now, ourtriplewedding ceremony is about to start.

Davis’s mom and dad walk down the aisle first and I’m so giddy for them I can hardly stand still.

Up next are Meghan and Cash. The man grips his fiancée’s hand and virtually jogs her down the aisle. He’s excited and, after all the hiccups they experienced on their journey to the altar, I can’t even blame him. He wants to make it happen as quickly as possible. He’s not taking any chances.

Davis and I are last to walk down the aisle.

“But we thought Davis and Alana were already married?” I hear Jimmy whispering loudly to Ziggy as we saunter up to the altar.

“Um, sort of…” Ziggy fumbles, mouthinghelp me!in my direction.

I mean, it’s not a total lie.

Davis and I are getting remarried. They just don’t know we ever gotunmarried.

In my eyes, it’s all the same. I never stopped loving Davis. Not for a second. In my heart, he was always mine. My one and only.

Rainbow just shrugs, cheerful as always. “When it comes to the love of your life, I guess you can never re-tie the knot too many times, right?”

My groom leans in as we make our way up the aisle. “I hope you’re ready for tonight, woman. I’m going to tear you up,” he growls.

I shiver, unable to fight my grin. “Shit, I can’t wait. After four whole years of celibacy, we have a lot to make up for.”

“Fuck yeah.” He looks ahead, his brows pinching together. “But did you girls seriously have to hire an Elvis officiant?”

“Um, yeah, we did. It’s part of the Sin Valley experience. Are you jealous that he has better hair than you?” I smirk.

It’s not true. Davis’s hair is perfect. The kind of waves you see on those shampoo commercials for men. But lately, he’s starting to get a little freaked about his hairline.I think his dad’s silly insecurity is rubbing off on him.

He huffs, glaring at Elvis as we come to a halt at the front of the chapel, just steps away from his parents and Cash and Meghan. “Whatever. It’s obviously a wig.”
