Her release squirts out all over my face and I get so fucking turned on. Before long, I’m exploding into her mouth, all over her chest and on these fancy governor sheets.

“Oh my god.” Alana drops her head to my sweaty chest, curling up against me. “You keep upping the ante, Westbrook. I thought you gave good chief deputy sheriff sex but your mayor sex was even better, and now…”

I chuckle.“How’s the governor sex, Princess?” I caress her belly where our baby is growing. Yeah, I love our daughters. But I’m really, really, really hoping for a boy this time, dammit.

“The governor sex is already blowing my damn mind.” She laughs breathlessly, stroking my chest.

I love this woman so much. The perfect woman for me.

She plants a kiss on the side of my neck then props herself on one elbow to look at me. “So where to next, Westbrook? Where will this life adventure take us next?”

I plant one last kiss on her lips before I swing my legs over the side of the bed. As much as I’d like to stay wrapped up in her, we both need to start the day. I glance at her over my shoulder. “How about the White House?”

She breaks into a wide grin. “Yeah…I like that for our next destination.” She knows I can do it. Alana Westbrook believes I can do anything.

With her by my side, I can.

I’ll keep her by my side forever.

I push backthe cuff of my custom-tailored dress shirt and glare down at the face of my Patek Philippe watch.

Fuck, I’m running late. Very late.

Across the massive mahogany conference table, a bunch of disgruntled corporate executives slam around their whiskey glasses and grumble about having wasted their Wednesday afternoon.

Tough luck.

Today’s negotiations were a complete bust but that’s not my problem. If those assholes had approached this deal in good faith, we could have easily struck a mutually-beneficial agreement. Instead, they decided to be stingy.

So, no deal.

I know what my time is worth and I know what Westbrook Wealth Management brings to the table. I refuse to do business with a group of slick-haired swindlers trying to lowball me.

In one seamless movement, I briskly glide out of my executive chair and give them a curt nod. “Gentlemen.”And I use that term lightly.
