“I’m good, handsome. Just taking this all in.”

The garden, well, I’m not sure garden is the appropriate word for what surrounds us. This place is a whole vibe all on its own. It’s massive, stunningly awe-inspiring, and honestly, it’s like a dream come true. Every little girl has dreams of being a princess, living in a big castle, especially one that is overlooking the sea.

Maybe that is just me, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that the Tintern Abbey and its grounds are just magical.

“This is like we’re in the Labyrinth and someone dropped Wonderland in the middle. All we need is a princess dropping her hair down the side of the Abbey tower and another sweeping out the old fireplace. It’s like…”

“An allergic reaction waiting to happen,” Abel swoops in, chuckling and stealing Breanna from me.

Before I can fuss, Noah is wrapping his arms around me from behind. “Does this mean you want a garden at home? I’m sure we can make that happen.”

My heart melts at his words. “Maybe a small planter garden that can be moved inside.” I smile. “We have the space in the dining room, the window seats I mean. I could spare one of them to use as a greenhouse for the colder days.” I turn in his arms, wrapping my arms around his waist. “If you help, I could make one out of an old baker's rack for the cafe. I have one in that back storage room. They would look really cute in the front window. I’d be able to use the herbs in the recipes…”

His chuckle makes me blush. “If that’s what you want, baby, that’s what we’ll do. Does this mean you’ve decided a cafe is what you want?”

“Yes, I believe so. Seeing how quaint they can be. I may have to work out a few eclectic pieces to put in there, to make it a unique experience.”

“You do whatever it is you think will be best. I have the utmost confidence in you and your new endeavor.”

“What if it fails, though? I was never that girl who overthought things so much. The older I get, the more cracked I feel.”

He snorts. The jerk. “We all go through that, baby. It’s part of life. You can do this. A cafe in that area will be a big hit for the lunch time crowd, trust me. Plus you have Dana and Cindy’s shops right there. You three will be like a one-stop shopping experience.”

“You’re just buttering me up now.”

He leans in, brushing his lips over my neck as he speaks. “I’d like to do something, but it’s not buttering you up. Though, chocolate might—”

“Noah!” Laughter peels out of me as he starts to tickle my sides. Of course, it draws attention. I don’t have time to be embarrassed. The big jerk is spinning me around, his arm extended as he turns a playful moment into a silent dance. The man is melting me into a thousand pieces and has no idea. He is truly the best kind of man in the universe.

“You two look mighty happy,” an older woman says as she walks our way.

“We are, thank you.”

“It’s our honeymoon,” I chime in.

“Oh, bless. You keep that up, young man; they love to be swept around the kitchen for no reason,” the man with her says, pulling her hand to his lips.

Swoon.

Life goals.

All the vibes around me right now have tears pricking at my eyeballs.

“Yes, sir, I plan to and more. She healed a part of me I never knew was broken.”

“That’s their place, lad. They swoop in, pull yer feet from under ye, and leave ye helpless in their hands.”

“Aye, ye remember that, Conrad,” the woman says cheekily.

Noah pulls me back to his chest as they walk off. “I love you so much. Do we have to stay here long?”

“NO, I mean we can explore however long. Why? You okay?”

“I’m fine, love.” His lips brush over mine. “I’m just ready to get to a room so I can lock the door behind us.”

“Is that so?” I tease.

“Hmm…”
