“Come on, you horndog. I swear you’re as bad as Abel. Maybe worse.”

“It’s not my fault I find my wife irresistible.”

“Smooth talker.” We walk hand-in-hand around the gardens. This place, and I know I said this before, but it's freaking magic. The yellows, purples, whites—they all make a painting across the space. I use my phone to snap pictures as we go from section to section. I’ve never been so happy to have a phone with a good camera on it.

I bump into Brenna, hip-checking her as I hold out my phone. I manage to sneak a shot of her and Abel, their arms stretched as he tugs her toward him. The smile on her face, it’s the smile of someone so in love. It makes me happy to see my friend so damn happy.

“That came out great. Look, I got these when you two were doing yourDancing With The Starsroutine in the main aisle.” She laughs and holds up her phone. She’s captured a few shots of Noah and me dancing. Our smiles are just like hers and Abel’s. Huge and full of love—happiness.

“We should take these and have them printed.”

“Hell yes. I might have one of those collage prints made. On canvas, I mean.”

“I have a huge collage frame I can put them in. For us. It can hang on the wall between the living room and the hallway. You know, where we had the coat rack. I moved it so I’d stop falling over it and Noah’s boats he calls shoes.”

Brenna’s head falls back and she laughs hard.

“Shut up. You know I’m clumsy, just like you, miss. I'm out running and get an elbow to the face.”

That sets us both off into a fit of giggles. “He made up for that at least.”

“True. He turned out to be a good man. They both are. We got lucky, toots.”

“I think it was us that got lucky,” Noah says, moving to wrap an arm over my shoulders. He pulls me into him, and I latch on.

“Yeah. Who would have thought it was possible? I’d been doing good as a bachelor, then my queen knocked me off my feet.”

I snort out a laugh. “It was you that knocked her down. You can thank your elbow and her face for y’all meeting.”

“She was drawn to me is all.”

We are still cutting up and laughing as we walk out of the gardens and set out up the small trail around the abbey. It’s times like this that I am so overwhelmed with happiness that I’m not sure my heart can keep up. It might just explode. In the best of ways though. I let myself get lost in the feel of Noah’s arms around me and the greenery surrounding us.

Tomorrow morning we will be in Dublin. Bucket list activated big time. Brenna and I have big plans. I just hope the boys can keep up with us.

Chapter17

Brenna

Dublin, Ireland. We're finally heading to motherfucking Dublin, Ireland! I can hardly believe it. The little girl who played with her Barbie and plastic Rapunzel castle is finally going to make her dreams a reality. I just wish I didn't drink so much last night because I have a doozy of a headache this morning.

I can feel Abel moving next to me before I even open my eyes, and then he whispers, "Good morning, my beautiful queen. Thought I'd help you feel better. Now open up for me."

I open my legs, like he requests, and I'm all of a sudden feeling much better. Abel has that effect on me. Always has. He lightly pinches my clit with his fingers as he bites my inner thigh, and I'm done for.

"You better get to the good part or I'm going to implode, Abel."

Trust me, he knows not to fuck around too long. I'm not one for drawn out foreplay. He roughly inserts two fingers and gets to work. I think my entire body just lifted off the bed, and I'm so close to coming, I dig my nails into the back of his neck. Our kisses become so frantic, I bite his lip as my orgasm rips through my body.

"Fucking hell, babe."

Okay, maybe I bit down a little too hard? I lick his lip and return the favor of pleasure he just gave me, and all is right in the world again.

Thirty minutes later, we're in the car and on our way to Dublin. Mara and Noah are acting strange, so I get to the point with my questions. I'm not going to let their odd looks and behavior ruin my high.

"What the hell is wrong with you two? You look guilty of something, but I'm not sure what, so come out with it!"

Noah, surprisingly, looks like the one who just ate the canary. Interesting. Very interesting. It's always the innocent looking one of the bunch.
