“It’s a mysterious place, probably filled with Bills memorabilia and posters of sexy women.”

“Bills memorabilia, yes, but I only have eyes for one sexy woman.”

He pulls my bare hips against him. I lied when I said I dressed up for Rob. Of course, I wanted Fletcher to notice me. I’ve always wanted Fletcher to notice me. Now that he has me in his arms and so close to his bedroom, I don’t want us to break apart.

He kisses the top of my head.

“I’ll go as slow as you need to tonight,” he whispers. “I don’t want to hurt you.”

“You’re not hurting me,” I whisper, stroking his stubble-covered cheek and pulling him in deeper. I want to lose myself in Fletcher, not listen to his excuses why we shouldn’t be together. I kiss him slowly, teasing his lips open and taking the tiniest bit of control. Fletcher doesn’t like that. Control is his thing, so he stops kissing me and opens his bedroom door, giving my butt another well-placed smack.

Fletcher groans. “I love you. I love you so much.”

We stumble into the bedroom together with our lips pressed together. I grasp Fletcher’s cheeks desperately and he holds onto my butt as we enter his bedroom. He has a large Buffalo Bills banner hanging on one wall and a collection of different Bills jerseys from the past few years. I don’t recognize any of the names despite growing up the daughter of a Bills’ superfan. (Sorry, dad.)

His room is extremely neat and Fletcher has his gun right there on the side table. He glances at it nervously and clears his throat.

“Sorry. It’s unloaded.”

“It’s so clean.”

Fletcher chuckles. “That’s the first thing you notice? Not the embarrassing buffalo stuffed animal on my bed?”

I glance over my shoulder and I can’t help bursting out laughing. Is Fletcher serious right now? There’s a buffalo stuffie with a little blue Buffalo Bills hoodie on. I laugh again and he grabs my hips, kissing me while I laugh and tickling me as he kisses me.

“Fletcher!”

“You are so fucking cute when you’re smiling,” he whispers. “It hurts how fucking much I love you.”

I stop giggling and throw my arms around Fletcher’s shoulders. My forearms fit right against his muscles. He’s made for me. He runs his hands over my hips and my butt again.

“I should lick your pussy again,” he whispers. “That’ll make me less nervous.”

“What the hell do you have to be nervous about?”

“I love you,” Fletcher murmurs, kissing my neck. “So if I don’t make this the best night of your life, I won’t forgive myself.”

“Fletcher… I’m not a virgin, you know.”

Fletcher’s body tightens. I recognize his jealousy for what it is now. Maybe I always knew, but assumed it was a more fatherly protective urge.

“Who was it?” he growls, his grasp on my hips tightening significantly. His grasp almost hurts and I don’t want Fletcher to freak out. It doesn’t matter who it was. None of the guys I’ve ever been with matter as much as this one. He’s the guy I never thought I would end up with.

“I don’t want you freaking out.”

Fletcher nips my neck with his teeth and I whimper from the pain. He runs his tongue over the hurt spot. “Tell me.”

“It doesn’t matter. He doesn’t even live here anymore.”

“Don’t make me force it out of you.”

“With illegal interrogation tactics?” I tease. Fletcher buries his nose in my neck and groans again. He’s still holding me so forcefully that I can’t move.

“Stop playing games with me, woman,” he murmurs. “I need to know.”

“Why?”

“So I can give him unnecessary parking tickets for the rest of his life.”
