He shook his cousin’s hand. “You should be thanking yourself. You’re one hell of a good wolf, Axton.”

“Any chance I can join the fight with you and the others?”

“Wouldn’t you rather run the company for a few days?”

“I’m pleased you trust me with it, but I want to be there for you, Wilder.”

He smiled at his cousin. “Then, by all means. Join us on our little lion excursion. Nothing brings family together like fighting for a mate.”

TWENTY-EIGHT

WILDER

The trap was set.

Three days later, there was no question that Greg Stevens wouldn’t have heard the news.

Not only was Amelia back in London, but she was trying to sell his business information to his competitors to finance her new single life.

For a man like Greg, who was so intent on controlling everything, it was the perfect trap. He wouldn’t be able to resist showing up in London to destroy his wife once and for all.

Amelia was nowherenearLondon. She was safely tucked away at his parents’ home with a few loyal enforcers. Rylee, Kyle, Caroline, Elizabeth, and Victoria were there. Strength in numbers, right? But there was wisdom in keeping all mates and family members in a safe and secure location until Greg was finally dealt with.

“Have you let the Europol agents know about our plan?” Canaan asked.

Sitting in the main room of the chalet he’d rented for this, Wilder shook his head. “Why would I? They haven’t found him, and even though they’re aware that Greg has lion shifter guards, these humans are not equipped to deal with them. This is our problem, and we’ll take care of it.”

“What he means,” Ryland said, “is that we will gift wrap the lions for Europol to find. All they will need to do is show up and charge Greg before they take him away forever.”

“Exactly,” Wilder agreed.

“At least we know for sure that Greg is in London,” Axton cut in.

“I told you I would get him here,” Ryland said.

“I think you’ll findIgot him there,” Canaan argued.

“I really don’t know how you do it,” Axton said to Wilder. “Are they really always like this?”

“They are.”

“No wonder you’re a grumpy bastard.”

Wilder threw his head back with a laugh.

“Holy shit,” Ryland whacked Canaan. “Did you see that? No, but did youhearthat? Wilder just laughed! He canlaugh! He hasn’t forgotten how.”

“I’ll bet Amelia makes him laugh plenty,” Canaan replied. “He was a broken person before she came into his life.”

“Would you stop talking about me like I’m not there?” Wilder asked. “I didn’t find you so annoying when we were all together, but now…”

“Well, now you don’t have Amelia to distract you,” Ryland pointed out.

“I can’t wait to get her back beside me,” Wilder griped.

“You’re welcome for our help, by the way,” Canaan said with a cheesy grin.

“I still can’t believe you left the compound… hell, you even left thecountry,” Wilder teased.
