“I’m starting to regret all the compliments I give,” Wilder grumbled.

“Don’t you dare,” Ryland laughed. “It was nice. Besides, I know why the wolf crossed the road.”

“For a steak,” Axton said.

“Nah. For his mate,” Ryland corrected. “What aboutyourmate?” he quickly asked. “Amelia is in trouble, isn’t she?”

Wilder nodded. “In a manner of speaking.” He filled in his family with as many details as he could. “The divorce proceedings are being rushed through. The judge had a lot of sympathy for Amelia, given Greg’s actions.”

“The marriage doesn’t sound like it was legal,” Canaan commented.

“It wasn’t.” Wilder spoke through gritted teeth. “It never should’ve happened, but this is what we have to deal with. Europol is trying to find him. I tried to get Greg to search for Amelia in Paris, but he hasn’t been found there. They’ve extended the search to all his usual haunts.”

Ryland grinned. “Well, sure, but where haveyousent people.”

Wilder sighed. “Wherehaven’tI sent people is the better question. I have pack members looking for him all across the globe, but with lion shifters for guards, there’s no telling where they stashed him.”

“I’ve tried to track his online presence,” Canaan said. “But he hasn’t used his phone or any of his online accounts since Amelia left him.”

“He was probably told not to,” Wilder explained.

“Still,” Ryland shrugged. “Seems like a man like Greg wouldn’t do what he was told. Even if itisfor his own good.”

“That’s a good point,” Wilder sat up in his chair as an idea began to form in his head.

“I know that face,” Ryland groaned.

“We’re about to get an order dump,” Canaan agreed.

“I don’t know what the hell that means,” Wilder grumbled. “But here’s what I need. Canaan, I want you to falsify Amelia’s passport dinging in London. Can you do that?”

Canaan nodded. “I can do that. It’ll take some effort and breaking a few laws, though.”

“Do it. If we catch Greg Stevens, no one will care. Too many countries want this man stopped. Ryland, I want you to tell all your informants that Amelia is selling Greg’s secrets.”

“Lemme guess,” his brother said with a grin. “You want me to put it out there that she is in London for the sale of said secrets.”

“That’s exactly it,” Wilder nodded. “Greg will be busy getting back to London in a hurry. He won’t be careful, and it will keep him far away from here. I’d rather attack him before he attacks us.”

“Solid,” Ryland nodded.

“Axton, I want you to run everything while I fly back to London. I will be out of communication for a few days while I track Greg down.”

“Do you really think you’ll take him on alone?” Canaan asked.

“Of course, I will.”

“With all those lion guards?” Ryland asked. “Nah, bro. We’re going to do our jobs, but then we are joining you in London. This asshole messed with the wrong family.”

“What he said,” Canaan agreed.

“I didn’t think the great recluse would join,” Ryland teased.

“Enough,” Wilder tried not to chuckle. “No more ribbing each other until Amelia is safe.”

“Better get to it then,” Ryland stood and was soon followed by Canaan.

Axton stayed behind and held out his hand for Wilder to shake. “Thanks for everything you’ve done for the Lupine pack.”
