“Have it,” he said before plunging into me deeply.

There wasn’t a sheet I could grip tight enough. A pillow with enough fluff. Or walls with ample thickness that could lessen the scream I released from the pit of my stomach. With each thrust, I clenched around him.

He leaned into my ear and whispered, “Is that enough for you, or do you want more?”

At some point I became a masochist, because I uttered, “More,” with ease.

He snickered and whispered, “Here,” before causing my body to contract. I gripped his back as my body convulsed. My legs shaking, pussy vibrating, and back flexing. I was done. I released his back and my body splayed open like a star fish.

His strokes slowed, and another trail of kisses started at my neck. His thumb pressed on my clit one last time, and my walls closed in on him until he fell to my side.

The faint hum of his breath eased me into a slumber. When I woke with the sound of shuffling beside me, I found myself tucked under his sheets. His heavy arm draped over my waist. I stared at the side of his face, watching for any sign of movement.

When he turned to me, eyes still closed, he asked, “You need more?”

I gasped. “Even if I did, my body is in another realm right now.” Those few words left my throat raw.

“Tell me where and I’ll meet you there.”

My eyes closed and I stayed quiet for a minute. I bit the side of my lip and said, “Angelo.”

“Gianna.” It was the first time he said my full name.

I snickered. “I thought you only knew my nickname.”

He shrugged. Eyes still closed when he said, “I’m a good listener.”

“That you are,” I said. “And everything you’ve done this weekend has been greatly appreciated.” I’d be singing a different tune once my body processed everything. “But it’s too soon to get caught up in someone else right now.” Going like we were, there was no doubt it would happen. At least for me.

His eyes peeked open and he asked, “You saying you falling for me?”

I shoved his chest. “Didn’t say no such thing.”

“It wouldn’t be bad if you were. Someone told me I was kind. Thoughtful.” He struggled with the last one but finally said, “Considerate.”

I argued, “It hasn’t even been a week since my breakup.”

“How often do you do something that makes no sense whatsoever?”

“Never.” My eyebrows crinkled.

“We are the same in that way. But I can say sometimes things don’t always go the way we think they should.”

“Sounds like you have experience.”

He started to tell me about the recent draft. Then said, “Being the backup QB was not where I thought I’d be.”

“And now?”

“I’m going to prove I deserve the number one spot.”

“I’m excited to watch you do it.” A smile grew wide on my face.

“My first official NFL fan.” He kissed my forehead. “I’m not even mad she happens to be the sexiest.”

There was no, “I shouldn’t get caught up in Angelo.” I already was.
