“It has one of the best gyms I’ve ever seen.”

“When do you do that?”

“Middle of the night, mostly.”

“Nick…”

“I’d rather do that than stare at the ceiling when I can’t sleep.”

“I’d rather you sleep, but I gotta say, the gym time is very well spent.” She touched her tongue to his washboard abs. “If the women of America could see what I see, they’d be storming the gates.”

“Oh, hush,” he said, embarrassed as always when she complimented his extreme sexiness.

She wrapped her hand around his cock, which was so hard, it nearly touched his belly button. “I only speak the truth.”

His gasp of pleasure thrilled her.

Sam loved being the only one who ever got to see him like this, who got to love him and touch him and live her life with him. She decided she ought to tell him that. “You make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world to be loved by you.”

He strained against the tight hold she had on him as she stroked him. “I’m feeling like the lucky one at the moment.”

Smiling, she bent to take him into her mouth.

“And getting luckier by the minute.”

Sam threw every trick she had at him, loving how his fingers tangled in her hair as his hips rose and fell with the rhythm she set.

“Samantha…”

The note of warning wasn’t lost on her, but rather than heed it, she doubled down until he shouted from the release that flooded her mouth and throat. She wouldn’t do that for any other man on earth. But this man… There was nothing she wouldn’t do for him.

With his worldon fire with scandal and controversy, Nick couldn’t believe how she cleared his mind of everything except her and them and the love he felt for her. The second he was able to catch his breath, he drew her down on top of him and kissed her swollen lips. “Thank you for this. I literally couldn’t bear the rest of my life without you and us and our family.”

“Me either, and you don’t have to thank me.”

“Yeah, I really do.” He ran the fingers of both hands through her hair. “I talked you into taking on a new senator, and look at where we ended up. I should be thanking you every single day.”

She shook her head. “No need. We could’ve ended up on the moon, for all I care. As long as you were there with me, I’d find a way to make it work.”

“I’m not sure which is worse—the moon or the White House.”

Sam laughed. “The White House isn’t so bad. Everyone here makes things so easy for us, and the kids have made a smooth transition. I have no complaints, and you know that’s a rare thing for me. I don’t love the intense scrutiny you’re under all the time, but you and your amazing team are so good at dealing with it. It’s all good in the hood.”

“I’m glad to hear you say that. I worry all the time about when I’m going to ask too much of you.”

“Never,” she said, leaning forward to kiss him as she glided over his reawakened erection.

He grasped her hips and held her still as he pushed into her. Once again, his mind went completely blank of all things that weren’t her and them and the intense connection that made his life complete.

Sam sat up straight and looked him in the eye as she moved over him.

As he watched her, he committed every second to memory, wanting to remember this forever. He moved his hands from her hips to her full breasts, running his thumbs over her nipples.

She tossed her head back as her internal muscles tightened around him.

They came together in an explosive moment of perfect harmony that never failed to astound him. After all this time, how could it keep getting better? Somehow it did, and as he gathered her into his embrace, he gave thanks to the universe for bringing her to him a second time.

“I really, really needed this,” he said as they came down from the incredible high they found together.
