How do I tell her that I occasionally slept with the girl who tortured her.

Grayson sees my face, and I swear I can see storm clouds cross over his usually clear blue eyes.

Sighing, I wrap myself as close as I can to her. “Yes, Andrya and I have some past interactions together,” I begin. Silla stiffens, but I won’t let her pull away. “I don’t date, I don’t really have a life outside of FRC, and that’s my choice. Unfortunately, that means that I’m a grouchy bastard if I don’t have sex occasionally, and Andrya is a discreet fuck buddy.”

“I guess she’s pretty, even if she’s a raging bitch,” Silla grumbles.

Grayson smirks as he looks down at her, waiting for signs that she’s upset. “Andrya is a little too crazy for my tastes,” he admits. “The staff doesn’t leave the facility very often, so they figure out their needs. I have questions for another day about what you said, when we all don’t want to kill her, okay?”

“I guess,” Silla says petulantly, and I chuckle as I kiss her neck.

“For what it’s worth, Andrya is going to be sleeping with one eye open for a bit,” I tell her.

“You can’t kill everyone who hurts me, you know,” Silla says with a lazy yawn. A nap would benefit her, so I reach up and start to slowly rub her head. Her eyes flutter closed, and I smile gently.

“We’re not going anywhere, Baby. Just let go, you’re safe,” I remind her.

Silla sniffles for a moment and I keep my body still. I fucking hate when she cries, because it makes me violent. As much as I dislike people, I can count on one hand the fights I’ve gotten into.

Soon her body relaxes, tears tracking down her face, the remains of a difficult day.

“This shouldn’t have happened,” Grayson says, staring at Silla. “I need to go handle this, because it’ll be brushed under the rug tomorrow. For the record, I am not running from anything, I just need to do something.”

“I know, Gray,” I say simply. “I don’t think any of those things. Tell Drya that I’m planning to continue my conversation with her later.”

Staring at me for a moment, I have no doubts that he won’t tell her that. He’d be right, because that trio doesn’t need to know about our relationship, whatever this is.

Pulling out his keys, Grayson leaves the infirmary, while I think about today, and all of the things that I should have done differently.

GRAYSON

The Fucked Up Trio are sure to only be in one of two places right now. I check Andrya and Ayden’s room first, rolling my eyes when I find it empty. Continuing down the hall, I stalk to Sidney’s room.

“Everything alright, Warden?” one of the staff asks as I walk past. I’m rarely in the staff dormitories, unless it’s to hang out with Isaac, and even then he’s so far away from these rooms that no one notices.

“Yes, I just need to talk to someone about a recruit incident. Thanks for asking. Have a good night,” I explain as I walk past.

The staff member shrugs and heads into his room, and I’ve already forgotten all about him. Knocking on the last door on the end, I wait until Sidney opens it before slamming my weight into it as I walk in.

“Warden?!” he hisses, glancing outside before shutting the door quickly.

“Are your cohorts here… oh good, they are,” I drawl as I see the twins on the couch, their eyes wide. I swear I see a hint of fear in Andrya’s eyes, but I can’t tell for sure. “Tell me in your own words about what happened in your classroom today. Starting with the change of location that wasn’t cleared with me.”

Contrary to popular belief, there are rules here, and they broke protocol on several. None of them came to see me about the incidents in their classroom, either. Even if there’s typically little I can do to curb their behavior, they still answer to me in some fashion.

“We figured Isaac would have told you, since he got the girl out of the vent,” Sidney begins to boldly say, but he appears a little twitchy. There’s also the little fact that he has a vein that’s pulsing nervously in his neck.

“He wasn’t there when everything went down,” I deny. “I don’t deal in second or third hand information. Explain to me what led you down this path of fuckery.”

There’s an undertone of fury in my voice, even though my outward appearance is calm. Ayden shifts his weight uncomfortably on the couch, his eyes on me.

“Warden, we thought it was important to break our recruits of any fears or things that could be used against them if they’re ever discovered,” Andrya explains, chewing on her lip. “Except, I didn’t know how deep the fear went, and fucked up. Things went too far today.”

“What else did I hear about nipple clamps and blow jobs?” I ask.

Sidney smirks, and while in theory it’s funny, things imploded on them in an epic way. “We decided to teach a blow job tutorial, and I chose a male for this, because their sexual preferences don’t matter to the Queen. They have to be willing to do whatever it takes to get the information they need,” he explains.

I nod because while I agree, I doubt he had altruistic intentions.
