“I won’t regret it. The only things you regret are the things you don’t do. I told you before that I’d be doing this for me, not you. I want to be here with my family. Spending time with them has reminded me of that. And now you…” he trailed off, pressing her hand to his chest. “Now you make everything feel right.”

“I hate that you’re sacrificing more than I am.”

“It’s not a sacrifice.”

She wasn’t so sure. “What will you do once you’re back here for good? You talked about starting a business here.”

“Yeah. I still have a lot of connections. I can stay with soccer. It’s such a growing sport over here. Or I could move into football. Cam has the connections.”

“You’d do that?”

“I’m excited about it.”

“I can tell that,” she said, hoarsely. Because she was soaping himthere, now. Her hands curled around him, making his breath stutter. Dropping to her knees, she ran her palms down his thighs. As the water rinsed him clean she slipped her mouth over him and he groaned.

“No.” He pulled back. “I didn’t come here for this.” He lifted her up, kissed her softly. “You don’t have to do this.”

“But I want to.”

“I need your lips on mine,” he whispered, pressing his mouth to hers. “Not there. I need to remember the way you look at me.”

“Will you call me when you’re away?” she asked him.

“Every damn day. And night. Once I work out the time difference.” He kissed her again, harder this time, and she felt it down to her toes.

“Just let me feel you inside of me,” she asked him. “Please.”

He swallowed and nodded, lifting her until they were close. “Keep talking to me,” he told her. “I want to hear your words.”

She opened her mouth right as he pushed inside of her, and instead of words, she let out a low groan.

“Tell me what you’re feeling,” he asked her. “Tell me everything.”

“You feel so good. So perfect. The way you move within me makes my toes curl.”

He pulled back and then pushed in again, right where she wanted him.

“When I’m away, you need to remember this. Remember that this works. Us. You and me. Together.”

“Yes.” Her voice was tighter now. He dipped his head to kiss her throat, her shoulder, her breast. Her back was against the tiles, her legs curled around his waist. His breath was as ragged as hers.

“Tell me something in French,” she asked, feeling herself tightening.

He kissed the corner of her mouth softly. “Je t’aime.”

His words were a shiver down her spine. The fluttering of her body around his cock. The long, desperate tumble into pure delight. She came hard and fast, and he joined her a moment later, spilling inside of her, calling out her name as his mouth took hers.

“I love you too,” she told him. “So much.”

ChapterTwenty-One

“I need a favor,”Sabrina said, walking into Grace’s office. It had been two days since Michael had left for London and it felt like every minute was dragging. Grace couldn’t help but smile at his sister.

Sabrina was a connection to him. And she needed that right now.

“If it involves underage drinking and vomit, I’m out,” Grace teased and Sabrina rolled her eyes.

“No, it doesn’t. Presley and Marley’s band is playing on Saturday night. And I really want to watch them. But I’m too young to get into the bar but they’ve said I can come with the band, but only if I have you with me.”
