“Let's just get them both into bed. The worst seems to be over, but they need rest,” Anton says, drawing my attention.

“Can I shower?” I ask, feeling disgusting. That's when I realize I’m wearing a large, baggy shirt. Zach sees me looking at it, then answers my unspoken question.

“You puked on your own clothes. I gave you my shirt. You puked on that, too, so Jer gave you his.”

“Four shirts later, and you’re wearing a spare Anton had to go get a few hours ago,” Isaiah says, and I frown.

“I have food poisoning, I’m not drunk. Why don’t I remember any of that?” I ask, feeling a tiny bit better after the sips of liquid Isaiah is still making me take.

“You were pretty out of it,” Zach says.

“If you want to shower, one of us can help you, but we probably shouldn’t leave you alone. In case you fall,” Isaiah says, helping me up. My legs are shaky, and I get dizzy as soon as I’m up.

“I think I’ll wait,” I mumble.

The guys say nothing, but I hear Jer chuckle quietly.

CHAPTERTHIRTY-TWO

Fortunately, I feel better by the next morning, and by Thursday, I’m mostly back to normal.

By Friday, I’m baking cookies for tomorrow night and waiting for the twins to come pick me up for our date. They all went home Wednesday when it was clear Eli and I were doing better. I managed to talk them into coming over to dinner on Saturday night. Even Eli, who made a face at the thought of food. I can’t blame him for that.

The knock on the door has me racing into the living room. The twins stand side by side, grinning brightly.

“Ready?” Jer asks, and I nod.

“Yep! Let's go!” I grab my jacket and double check that I turned the ovens off. The drive isn’t far, and because it’s Christmas Eve, everything is closed as we pass the shops in town.

When we park, I frown. Zach drove, and Jer let me have the passenger seat, but he doesn’t need to see my face to know I’m confused.

“The lights will turn on in just a moment. Then we can walk over,” Jer explains, leaning forward. It doesn’t take long, and when the lights finally turn on, I see our destination clearly.

“Ice skating?” I ask, my mouth open wide as I stare. “I’ve never been,” I admit, already worried I’m going to face plant.

“Us, either,” Zach says with a shrug. “We’ll learn together.”

It’s at that moment that I realize I’m on a date with two men, and this isn’t normal. Neither is sleeping with your stepbrother and his best friend. At the same time.

“Is this weird?” I mumble, and Jer leans forward far enough that I can’t see Zach anymore.

“No, ice skating is pretty standard for a date in the winter.” His playful grin lets me know he’s aware of what I meant. When I just lift a brow, he rolls his eyes dramatically. “We both like you. We aren’t interested in fighting over you. We know how to share.”

“And if I didn’t want more than one partner?” I ask quietly. The words seem to take the wind out of his sails. Jer sits back, but Zach watches me.

“Do you not like us, or is it that you’re already sleeping with three men?” His tone is soft. His words aren’t an association, Zach genuinely wants to know what’s suddenly got me scared.

“Five men…is a lot. Why share? You could each find a woman so easily…” I trail off, not sure what I want him to say.

“I can’t speak for the others, but for us…it’s simple. We both like you. If you like us too, we can make you happy. Together,” Zach says gently, and I bite my lip.

“And the other three?” I ask.

“That’s your decision. And theirs. We won’t stand in your way, and if you choose us, we’ll be here,” Zach says simply.

“Plus, you deserve to be spoiled. Five men can spoil you more than just two,” Jer adds. I can’t hold in the giggle. “Can we go make fools of ourselves now?” He’s so hopeful, and I don’t want to say no.

Instead of answering, I get out of the car and head toward the ice.
