Fisting his hand into my hair, I opened my mouth, sliding the tip of his cock between my lips and rolling my tongue around his swollen head. His abs flexed as his body tensed.

"Fuck," he groaned, his grip tightening in my hair. He bucked his hips forward, thrusting himself deeper before pulling my head back so my eyes locked on his as he slowly pulled himself out.

My grip tightened around his base as I moved my mouth and hand towards each other, finding a rhythm as I sucked and pumped his length.

"Fuck," he grunted as I continued, harder, faster, deeper. "Harper." His head fell back as his body shuddered, and I knew he was losing control. He thrust his hips forward, hitting the back of my throat, eliciting a low groan.

Squeezing my thighs together, I continued sucking him with quick, deep pulls. He gasped, and the overwhelming sensation almost sent me over the edge. The thrill of being caught, the noises he made as I pleased him, the ache in my jaw, his hand in my hair, all of it.

His hand fisted tighter in my hair, and I dropped my hand as he thrust his hips forward; simultaneously, he pushed my head down, shoving his cock deep down my throat.

"Fuck." His body tensed as he held me in place. "I'm gonna—" I gagged, placing both hands on his thighs to brace myself as I felt the warm salty liquid shoot down the back of my throat.

He pulled himself out, and I gasped for a breath, dropping my hands to my thighs to hold myself up.

"Are you okay?" he breathed.

I gave a slight nod, still trying to catch my breath. Everything about that was hot, and I wanted more of him. "We should go back to the beach house," I said breathlessly. "Before I fuck you right here," I repeated the exact words he said to me the night we watched Maverick.

Chapter 32

Harper

Spring break was over, and it was back to reality. I rode the long ride back to the Valley with Chloe. I wanted to ask her about Aiden and freshman year, but I didn't want to pry. If she didn't tell me, she must have had a reason. So, I left it alone, for now anyway.

We quickly packed a few things for her and then headed to Christian's.

"You sure you don't mind me crashing with you?" Chloe asked, focusing on the road in front of her. "It's not too late for me to go home."

"What?" I asked. "Of course not." She pulled her truck down Christian's driveway, around the house to the back, and up to the pool house. Hopping out of Chloe's truck, exhaustion overwhelmed me. I wanted to spend the next two days in bed before returning to school.

Grabbing a bag from the backseat, I headed inside, rounding the front of the truck. Christian stepped out the sliding glass door from the main house. Aiden stepped out behind him, and then a tall thin, dark-haired woman followed Aiden out. The woman was an older, more mature mixture of Christian and Aiden, and I knew immediately it was their mother.

"Mrs. Chandler," Chloe said with a tiny squeal of surprise. 'Her wide eyes flashed from Christian to Aiden. I assumed she had the same question running through her mind:Did you know she would be home?

A flood of panic surged through me.

"Chloe," Mrs. Chandler smiled, leaning in to hug Chloe. "So good to see you again."

"When did you get back from London?" Chloe pulled out of the hug.

"Last night," she said, her gaze flicking to me. "You must be Harper."

Panic coursed through me, my pulse drumming in my ears.Moms hated me. All of them. Chloe's mom. Ryder's mom. My mom. They all hated me. I was from the Southside, and even worse than that, I was the stepdaughter of Levi, a well-known drug dealer. I wasn't ready for this.

Rubbing my damp hands down my jeans, I struggled to push past the panic. To say something, anything, but I couldn't.

"Mom," Christian said, sensing my panic. "Why don't we let Harper and Chloe get settled, and we can all catch up tomorrow?"

"Of course," Mrs. Chandler said. I somehow managed to return her smile though I wasn't sure how genuine it looked. "You girls get settled tonight; perhaps we can chat tomorrow."

I swallowed the lump forming in my throat. Tomorrow. Tomorrow I would have to sit down and have a conversation with his mom, and she would hate me, and then what? Would she kick me out?

"I'm going to help them unload," Christian said. "I'll be in, in a few minutes."

"Come on, Mom," Aiden said, placing a hand on her back. He led her back towards the house.

"Did you know she was back from France?" Chloe whispered, following Christian back to her truck.
