I reach forward to kiss her. “That’s exactly it, and I meant it.”
“You never got serious with anyone?” she asks me.
I shake my head. “Not even close.”
“What about that girl at the after party?”
“Janey?” I splutter.
“She did have her arms around you… so I thought, maybe…”
“I’m not with Janey, and I’ve never been with her. Jay took her off my hands that night.”
“Wow. That was sweet of him.” I can hardly contain my sarcasm.
“Look, I’m not going to lie, Em. I’ve had a lot of women over the years. But I’ve never had a connection to any of them. The only serious relationship I’ve had is with you.”
“Well, you know there’s only been one other since you,” she says.
“I also haven’t been interested in any of that stuff for months,” I sigh, knowing all of my secrets are now coming out of the bag. “Maybe I was waiting.”
“For what?” she asks me, swirling her fingers up and down my side.
I close my eyes momentarily to feel her touch, and really take it in. “For this,” I say simply. “I’ve always been waiting for this.”

Taylor
We both sleep in from the copious amount of sex we’ve had from last night. It's like we’re trying to make up for the last six years in one day.
I’m not complaining, especially when she wakes up in my arms and I see her long, luscious hair laid out on the pillow.
I could get used to this. But something pangs in my heart.
I’m fucking afraid to lose her after it seems I just got her back.
There are dynamics to work out, that’s for sure.
I don’t even know what any of it means; I just know that I’m enjoying this feeling and this time with her a little too much.
“I can call out for breakfast?” I whisper to her when she stirs and her arm snakes around my waist, actually, a little lower and she brushes past my hard dick.
Her eyes open and a big grin immediately appears across her face.
“Happy to see me?” she mumbles.
I push my hips into her. “Very.”
“I would love some breakfast,” she says, squeezing me hard.
I chuckle. “I could get used to this.”
She curls a leg over me as I pull her on top. “You got anything to do today?” she asks.
“Besides you?”
She laughs. “I’m being serious.” She swats me with her hand.
