“I have a situation with her,” I eventually reply.

“Like what?”

“We’ve met before.”

“When?”

“We went on a date once.”

“And?”

“And she was the girl who fucked my brains out, and then I saw her with her fiancé two days later.”

Bennet’s eyes light up, “This is the girl?”

“You’re fucking joking me.”

“Oh . . . she just got a lot hotter.” Blake smiles darkly. “I like them slutty. I especially like giving them what their boring partners can’t.” He pumps his hips. “Show them what they’re missing.”

I roll my eyes. “Or dodging the bullet.”

“No . . . ,” Bennet scoffs. “That can’t be her. Juliet is all sweet and innocent.”

“Is she really, though?” I narrow my eyes. “That’s the million-dollar question.”

“Happy to find out for you.” Bennet winks. “Do some market research.”

“Fuck. Off,” I spit. “I’m going to knock you out in a minute.”

Bennet frowns. “I’m confused. What’s the problem? So she lives next door, so what?”

“The problem is,” I whisper angrily, “that I don’t want her but I can’t stop thinking about her, and Vanessa came over this weekend, and I couldn’t get the fucking job done. Ended up telling her I had a migraine.”

They both frown.

“And Juliet the pain in my neck lives next door to me, and I have to look at her sexy little ass run up and down my street and listen to her dumb dog bark all fucking day, and all I want to do is bend her over my car and give her what for.”

I drag my hand down my face in disgust.

“Hmm.” We fall silent.

“And now it gets worse. Her dumb friend just came over and warned me to look after her, seeing we are dating now.”

“Huh?”

“She lied to him and told him I was her boyfriend so she didn’t have to go out with him. This woman is a manipulative, venomous, cheating witch.”

“Who you should totally fuck.”

“Exactly.” I sip my beer.

“So what are you going to do?” Bennet asks.

I think for a moment. “The only thing I can do.”

“Which is?”

I sip my beer. “I’m going to teach her a lesson.”
