My Ax,

When we first said “I do”, I had no idea how far our journey would take us. We’ve had our ups and downs, faced heartaches and triumphs side by side. You love me unconditionally, accept me for who I am, and bring out the best in me.

Our love is deeper now than when we first met. It has been tested and tried, and came out stronger. You are my best friend, my partner, the one I want to share all of life’s moments with.

Here we are, ready to renew the promises we made to each other. I give you my heart, my soul, my everything, now and forever. Our love is eternal, my Axel.

I love you with all that I am. You are my always. My heart will be yours, through eternity.

I fold the letter and place it in an envelope, hoping the words convey the depth of my love and affection. He is my soulmate, my everything, and this is only the beginning of the new us.

The preparations keep us busy over the next few days as we get ready to celebrate this new chapter of our lives surrounded by the people who love us.

He wants everything to be perfect, ensuring our guests will enjoy a feast to celebrate this special moment with us. I smile, touched by how much thought and care he puts into every little detail. His love and devotion impress me.

We hire a team to set up chairs, hang fairy lights, and decorate the arch where we will stand to proclaim our eternal love once more, embarking on a new chapter of our lives.

Our love has endured a rocky storm, gaining depth through our recent downs. It is tried and true, rebuilt on trust, understanding and a bond so profound it transcends the test of time. We have loved and lost, only to find our way back to each other.

The morning of our vow renewal ceremony dawns bright and beautiful. I wake up to an empty bed, finding a note on Axel’s pillow.

My love,

I left early to pick up your bouquet. I will meet you at the altar. Think of me.

Yours,

A.

I smile so wide my cheeks hurt, my heart swelling with love for this man.

After a quick breakfast, I head upstairs to prepare for the ceremony. I take a long shower, lather in fragrant oils and perfume, thinking of Axel the whole time. My body thrums with need for his touch, a sweet ache I have grown back accustomed to.

I get my hair and makeup done by the artist who’s assisting me for the ceremony, wanting to look my best when I walk down the aisle to meet my man. Then I slide into my gorgeous dress, an ethereal white chiffon number that flows around my curvy body.

Axel is waiting for me under the flower arch, devastatingly handsome in his tux. Our eyes meet from across the garden, and my heart skips a beat. After all these years, he still has the power to make me go weak in the knees with just one look.

I glide towards him, his gaze burning into mine. When I reach him, he takes my hands and smiles.

“You’re breathtaking,” he whispers, eyes shining with emotion.

“You too, my love,” I reply softly.

Our officiant begins the ceremony, but I barely hear his words. I’m lost in Axel’s eyes, drowning in the depths of his love. Here in this moment, we are the only two people in the world. Our love transcends time and space.

Axel slips a ring on my finger and recites his vows. I cling to his every word, tears of joy blurring my vision. We’ve come so far, and our love is stronger than ever.

When it’s my turn to speak, I pour my heart out to him, pledging my eternal devotion. By the time we seal our vows with a kiss, there is not a dry eye among our guests.

The party is in full swing, music pulsing through the yard as our friends and family mingle and dance. Axel pulls me on the makeshift dance floor, wrapping me in his big arms as we sway to the beat.

“Having fun, Mrs. Cain?” he murmurs against my ear, sending a delicious shiver down my spine. I smile up at him, tracing the line of his jaw with my fingertips.
