“The time of my life, Mr. Cain,” I reply, leaning in for a slow, sensual kiss. Axel deepens our connection, his hands roaming all over my body as desire floods my veins like liquid fire.

We break apart, breathless, when someone whistles in the crowd. Then there are more congratulations and well wishes from our guests, though I can barely focus on anything but the lingering memory of Axel’s toe-curling kiss.

As the evening progresses, the atmosphere becomes more intimate, and Axel and I steal moments together, trading kisses and whispers of love.

The yard is lit by strings of twinkling lights as a few guests remain, chatting and laughing. Axel pulls me aside, pinning me against the wooden fence and capturing my lips once more.

“I want you,” he rasps, desire darkening his eyes to midnight. “Now.”

My heart pounds at the thought. “We have guests,” I protest weakly, though I want nothing more than to give in to him.

“They won’t miss us for a few minutes,” he insists, licking a wet, hot trail down my neck. I moan softly, desire overruling all sense and reason.

“Just a few minutes,” I breathe, grabbing Axel’s hand and pulling him to the house. Our guests will wonder where we’ve disappeared to, but in this moment, I don’t care.

All that matters is Axel, and the wrecking pleasure we find in each other’s arms.

We return to the party a bit disheveled. Axel is flushed, his hair mussed. My lips are swollen and my eyes a tad too wide… Our friends and family greet us with knowing smiles and teasingly raise their glasses, toasting our happiness.

Axel pulls me into his arms as a slow song starts to play, swaying gently under the twinkling lights. I lay my head on his shoulder, inhaling the familiar, intoxicating blend of his woodsy cologne and male scent, as we dance the night away.

When the music ends, we remain in our embrace, swaying to the rhythm of our hearts. The rest of the world fades away until only Axel remains, my rock, my heart, my everything.

The party winds down in the wee hours of the morning. As the last guest heads home, Axel and I stand in the middle of the backyard, enveloped in each other’s arms.

“Did you think we’d be here again?” he asks softly.

I shake my head, gazing up at the inky sky dotted with stars.

“Our love has endured so much,” I reply. “But we’re stronger than ever.”

He kisses me tenderly, cupping my face in his hands. “You’re my forever, baby.”

Then we finally slip into the house and up the stairs to our bedroom, Axel pinning me against the wall every few steps with greedy kisses. By the time we tumble on our bed, we’re both breathless with need.

Axel strips my dress off, his dark eyes devouring every inch of my bare skin. “So fucking beautiful,” he growls, his lips tracing the curve of one breast. I arch into his touch with a soft moan, wetness dripping between my thighs.

When Axel’s fingers slip inside me, stroking and teasing, I cry out his name. He knows my body so well, playing me like an instrument until I’m on the edge of bliss.

“Please,” I gasp, desperate for more. Axel grins and removes his fingers, leaving me achingly empty, before he fills me in one deep thrust of his long, thick, hard cock.

A strangled moan escapes my lips as Axel begins to move, his strokes hard and fast. There’s no tenderness here, only raw passion and desire. I meet each powerful roll of his hips eagerly, clinging to his broad shoulders as he drives us both toward a shattering release.

“Come for me,” Axel rasps, his fingers circling my clit, and I tighten around him with a cry of ecstasy. He follows moments later, burying himself deep inside me as he finds his own orgasm.

We collapse on the bed, breathless and sated, our bodies still joined. Axel brushes a tender kiss on my swollen lips, his gaze glowing with love and desire. “Happy second wedding night, Mrs. Cain.”

I smile up at my husband, joy flooding my heart. “Happy wedding night, Mr. Cain.”

“Are you happy?” Axel murmurs, his lips brushing my ear.

“So happy,” I whisper. “Today was perfect. Marrying you again was the best decision I ever made.”
