“I have nothing to say to you.”

“You’re trespassing.” I pointed out. “Usually, I suppose the property owner would call the police and have you deal with them. But this is a special piece of land and unfortunately for you, I’m the guard here. I’m going to say it again, let’s have a chat.”

“How about we not?”

Sighing, I spun the pen between my fingers and brought the point down into his left thigh—hard. He howled in pain, but I clamped a hand over his mouth and leaned in close to his face.

“Shh.” I shushed him. “None of that. You denied my request with your whole chest. I’d like you to keep that same energy.”

“Fuck you!” He panted.

I tilted my head.

“Fuck you.” His voice was weaker now.

Easing back, I withdrew the pen and brought it down into his right thigh with my whole weight.

This time, he bit his lips and moaned while squirming against the restraints.

I curled my legs under my body and sat facing him.

“Now.” I spoke calmly. “Are you going to answer my questions, or do you still want to fuck me?”

He panted, his chest rising and falling rapidly.

“I know why you’re here.” I told him. “At least, I think I do. But why don’t you confirm it for me?”

“This is just to find information!” He blurted out.

“Are you a reporter?”

“What?” Mario asked. “No—not a reporter.”

I inhaled, held the breath then pushed it out my mouth, trying desperately not to stab him again. “Who sent you?”

“Her name is Anna-Something.” He replied, groaned then panted more. “I don’t know her last name. She wanted information on you and the layout of the land.”

“That’s it?”

“Look, they don’t pay me enough for anything else.” He replied.

“How do you know Anna?”

“I don’t really know her.” He grunted. “She approached me.”

I tilted my head to stare into his face. “You made a few mistakes, Mario.”

“How-how did you know my name?”

I frowned. “The first mistake was, you took the job. The second, you didn’t ask any questions. The third, you actually followed through with it. You do understand that usually this would have been a kamikaze mission.”

“What do you mean?”

“You walk in, but don’t walk out.” I replied. “But I’m trying to get right with the lord. So, I’m going to give you a choice. I hand you over to the police or I shoot you.”

“Police!”

“You didn’t think about it, Mario.”
