Laughing, I glanced over at Wolf who groaned and began herding the boys through the back door.

When we arrived at the depot, my truck had been taken out of storage. Water droplets glistened on the exterior as it seemed someone had rinsed it off.

It was probably a little dusty.

Levi was already there.

Apparently, he was at the club close by doing rehearsals for his new show as he was in full drag. Dillon was out of his mind excited to meet Levi.

Eli, on the other hand, was so taken in by enjoying Dillon’s happiness, he stood back with a smile on his face and his eyes glued to Levi’s smile.

I shook my head, wondering how much longer they could have kept that from everyone.

Hurrying inside while everyone talked outside, I gathered my paperwork and when I returned, Levi took me by the arm and led me to the side.

“What’s the matter?” I wanted to know.

“Carter invited me for his weekend with the boys.” Levi whispered, panicking. “How am I going to do that?”

“Well, what are they doing for the weekend?”

“They’re going to some cabin for fishing and beers.” Levi told me. “All I can see is them sitting around in overalls, drinking and spitting tobacco.”

I laughed.

“You’re being dramatic.” I chortled.

“Roughing it, Wasp!”

He was panicked.

“Levi, first, you need to calm down.” I hugged him.

Levi peeled himself from my arms to hold up his palms.

“Do these hands look like they know how to rough it?” He pushed.

“Then decline the offer.” I told him. “There’s no rule that says youhaveto go.”

“But he’s your potential boytoy!” Levi whined. “And I want to get to know him.”

“Soli, sweetie, there are so many other things you two can do together.” I pointed out. “I will help you with that list later, but I have to hit the road.”

When I tried hugging him, Levi gripped my shoulders.

“What does one wear to a weekend like this?” He straightened his spine.

“Levi, are you sure?”

He nodded. “Positive. If this is the man you’re thinking of choosing, I need to make the effort.”

I did hug him then.

“Comfort is key.” I told him.

“Wasp!” Dillon called.

“Let’s go!” Eli finished for him.
