Mitzi howled with laughter. “I love a man who can express himself.”

Mandy rolled her eyes. “Do either of you realize I’m standing right here?”

Mamba wedged himself past Mitzi, and replaced Mandy’s hands as he massaged her back. “You getting those spasms again?”

Mandy let her head drop forward. “OMG, that feels amazing.”

“I think I’ll leave you two alone, but don’t get too loud. The last time you were in here alone, I had to turn up the music so loud Mrs. Jenkins complained about noise pollution.”

“Very funny.” Mandy shooed her out of the office.

“Hey, I can’t help it if my woman gets loud for me.”

“Oh, shut up.” Mandy swatted at him. “I don’t know which one of you is worse.”

“She is.”

“He is.”

They said at the exact same time while pointing to each other.

When Mitzi left, Samson nuzzled her neck and Mandy angled away from him. “Don’t get any ideas. Doing anything at my size in this tiny room could be dangerous.”

Mamba advanced trapping her against the desk. “Now that’s a challenge I can get behind.”

She spun away from him putting the desk between them. “Please it’s bad enough Mitzi’s on to us, but by now she’s probably telling the receptionist we’re screwing on my desk.”

“Fuck, babe, if you’re trying to slow this down sayin’ shit like that ain’t the way to do it.”

She shook her head at his antics. “Why are you here anyway?”

“Can’t a man check up on his beautiful pregnant lady?”

“In the middle of the day when you’re usually training or at the Gold Mine?”

“I was thinking we could go up to Cobra’s cabin a few days earlier.”

“Like when?”

“Like now.”

“Now? You said this weekend. It’s only Wednesday.”

“I know, but the doctor did say you might go early . . . and no time like the present, right?” He flashed the smile that made her melt. A sultry mix of an outlaw with enough wickedness to kick up her overactive hormones.

“Mitzi was only expecting me to take Friday and Saturday off. You know, I am trying to run a business here.” She tried her best to use her stern voice but of course she didn’t dissuade him.

“I’ll talk to Mitzi.” Mamba waggled his eyebrows. “The last time she was at the Gold Mine she had her eye on the new prospect who tends bar. I’ll bet if I could put that together, she’d work this weekend and next.”

“You are too much. You missed your calling you should’ve been a high-priced lawyer.”

“Maybe all the times I’ve been locked up and depending on lawyers has rubbed off.” He winked at her. “Either way. Let me handle it. Then tonight we’ll head up to Mount Charleston.”

“Fine.” She pushed at his shoulders. “Get out of here so I can finish up this work.”

He strutted out of her office and into the main room of the salon. By now all eyes were riveted on her badass biker boyfriend because he owned whatever space he occupied.

Unfortunately, people usually didn’t see past the scarred face, tats, faded jeans and bulging muscles. The side of him who defended his club and his brothers fearlessly, but never fought anyone weaker than himself. The Mamba who pampered her with back rubs and soft words, who listened when she worried about her business and held her tight letting her know nothing would harm her.
