The hair on the back of my neck prickled as my eyes darted between them. I knew they were attempting to rile me up, but that didn’t stop my heart from pounding faster. Jace swiped his tongue over his top lip before smirking.

“Did she tell you that she was with both of us—at the same time?” Jace tilted his head.

I bit my tongue, trying to preserve the small amount of composure I had left, and it wasn’t lost on them that Jace’s words were news to me. Kian let out a cold laugh, his eyes gleaming smugly.

“She had multiple chances to run,” Kian drawled. “But she didn’t. Not until we got her off twice.”

“She tastes like a fucking dream.” Jace took a step closer. “I would know—I had my face buried in her pussy for one of those orgasms.”

“You better back the fuck up,” I warned him in a deadly voice. “Or I’m really going to piss off your gang by killing you.”

“She screamed for us,” Kian stated, ignoring my threat. “But you know exactly how that sounds, don’t you? I’m sure you heard her through her door the last time I fucked her.”

These fucking assholes. Red was lining my vision, and everything except the overwhelming urge to throw fists evaded my mind. I blew out a shaky breath, my attention flicking between the two of them as the elevator doors opened behind Jace, who leaned forward as if he was going to tell me a secret.

“I can’t wait to taste her again,” Jace said in a low voice, his eyes gleaming. “And I’ll make sure she screams my name loud enough for you to hear.”

My resolve shattered, and I lurched forward with a snarl, crashing into Jace. His arm lashed out, and pain exploded through my jaw when he punched me. We fell back, the elevator shaking violently when we landed in a heap. Jace jabbed his fist into my ribs as I stayed on top of him and swung, my hit landing hard enough to split open his lip. He punched me in the gut, making pain flare down my side, and I blocked his next hit before reaching for his throat.

Until a small ding alerted me that the elevator doors had closed.

“Fuck. No,” I muttered, scrambling up, pushing Jace away when he came after me again.

I hit the button, attempting to stop it at the closest floor, but there was a sudden halt, making the elevator jerk. Jace cursed from behind me as we both righted ourselves before I dug my phone out of my pocket. My heart dipped when I saw no bars, which meant no fucking signal. Glancing at the panel on the wall, I hit the emergency button and then the call button. There was nothing but silence, and I slapped the wall, my pulse going haywire.

“What the hell is going on?” Jace growled from behind me.

I ignored him, pressing the call button again while scanning the walls for a camera. There was one in the top corner, and I stared at it for a full minute, my stomach sinking as time went on. We’d told the guy to turn off the cameras.Fuck.I was trapped in here while Kian was out there with a way to find Rynn. This was about the worst thing that could fucking happen tonight.

My chest was suddenly slammed into the wall when Jace shoved me from behind. With a scowl, I spun around, ducking away from his punch. I lunged forward, wrapping my arms around his waist and ramming him into the back wall. We both froze when the elevator lurched, and I slowly backed away, my glare staying on him.

“As much as I want to kick your ass, I’d rather not kill myself,” I grumbled. “But once we’re out of this elevator, you’re fucking done.”

“Once we’re out,” Jace repeated, a frown on his face. “This was a setup, wasn’t it? A way to get Kian and me out of the way?”

I crossed my arms, resting against the wall. “You didn’t think I’d just let you ruin what we planned, did you?”

Jace chuckled. “And how well did that work out? Because I can guarantee that Kian is already on his way to where Rynn is.”

“It doesn’t matter. It’s too late for him to change anything.” My words were confident, even though my gut was knotting. Everything was already in place, but if Kian figured out what we were doing, he’d do whatever it took to stop it.

“How long are we stuck in here?” Jace asked gruffly.

I didn’t respond as I reached beside me to press the call button again. The hotel worker we had rig the elevator did exactly what we ordered, and now I was regretting telling him to turn off the cameras. If Rynn didn’t realize where I was, then I was stuck in here for three goddamn hours. Which was seriously going to test my self-control, because if I killed him, the Disciples would come after me and Rynn.

I hoped she was having better fucking luck than I was.

I staredat my phone for the tenth time, nerves swarming me as I got sent straight to voicemail when I called Gage again. He should be here by now. I shifted my bag to my other shoulder, knowing I couldn’t wait much longer. Everything was in place, and I needed to get this done before I lost the chance. I bit my lip, wondering if Jace and Kian were stuck in the elevator like we planned. But if that was the case, where the hell was Gage?

Pulling up the app on my phone, I checked the live feed again, seeing that it was time to move. Blowing out a breath, I peered down the hall one last time, waiting to see if he’d suddenly appear before I turned around and made my way to the hotel suite. Slipping the master key card out of my pocket, I tapped it against the electronic lock, my heart racing when it clicked open. I pushed the door open, silently slipping inside the room before grabbing my gun. Tiptoeing through the living room area, I headed to the bedroom, knowing exactly where they were, thanks to the cameras Gage had installed two days ago.

One of the girls saw me first, and she let out a shrill noise when she spotted the weapon in my hand. She was completely naked, and as I stepped into the bedroom, she attempted to cover herself with her hands. The other girl walked out of the bathroom, freezing when she spotted me.

“Leave,” I demanded coldly, jerking my head. “Both of you.”

“What the hell?”
