"She's not meant to be here," Da repeats.

I close my eyes, muttering, "Please stop."

"Walk her down the aisle," Tully sternly repeats, stepping between Da and me.

It's enough to make Da stop in his tracks. He groans and steps next to me.

I take his arm. The Wedding March starts, and we go down the aisle.

It's the same church and priest as our first wedding, yet everything is different. It hits me again how Tynan is no longer someone for me to fear. All of that is gone. Except for what will happen later tonight, and that's more about my inexperience. And I can't fool myself that I don't want to please him, especially now that I'm his wife.

I push all those thoughts out of my head, staring at my husband as I walk down the aisle. I try to forget there are hundreds of eyes on me. I've never liked being the center of attention, so I just focus on Tynan with my insides quivering, telling myself I'm lucky.

My husband's gorgeous. He's in a tux, which only makes him better looking. It's another thing I didn't think was possible.

Tynan's only focus is me. His expression is borderline lewd, making my cheeks heat to the point they're burning when I get in front of him.

He winks at me and then steps in front of Da. He leans down and mutters something. From the look on my da's face, he's not happy.

"Go sit down," Tynan orders him.

Da begrudgingly obeys.

Tynan takes my hand and moves me in front of the priest. It's the same vows we took only a few weeks ago, but something has changed. I try to figure it out when Tynan is repeating them to me.

Do I want to say the vows?

Part of me does, I can't deny it. And then part of me feels guilty that I'm this easily swayed. Things have been nice while living with Tynan in Brody's house. It's been easier than dealing with Da, even though I still worry about him.

When it's my turn, I don't talk loud enough. But Tynan is patient with me, stroking his thumb over my hand, keeping a smile on his face.

It gives me courage, so I clear my throat and say my vows again, louder. And then it's over, and the priest asks for the rings.

Tynan slips a new band on my finger, and I look at him in panic. He leans into my ear and states, "Don't worry. Both of the old bands are in my safe."

I breathe a sigh of relief.

The rings get blessed, and the priest announces I'm Mrs. Tynan O'Connor.

The church erupts in applause. Tynan swiftly leads me down the aisle, through the church doors, down the steps, and into the car waiting at the curb.

I ask, "Don't we have to talk to people?"

He grunts. "No. We'll talk to them at the party later."

He shuts the door, and the driver takes off. There's a divider window that's closed.

In a swift move, Tynan pulls me on top of him so my knees are on each side of his hips. The tulle from my dress is everywhere. He chuckles and slides his hands under it, muttering, "Too much of this stuff."

I wrap my arms around his shoulders, locking my hands behind his head, softly laughing. "Ya don't like it?"

"Ya look smashing. But I prefer ya in nothing. Now, be a good wife. We don't have a lot of time."

My cheeks heat again. Tingles burst under my skin at his touch and race to my core.

He kisses me, and I don't fight, returning his affection. But I haven't fought kissing him in a while. It feels natural now.

His hands move up my inner thighs, and he praises me against my lips. "Good lass." He slides a finger inside me.
