I come awake slowly, then ask, "Where are we?"

"Look out the window," he says, pointing.

I sit up and glance over at the window. Then I put my hand over my mouth.

He laughs.

I turn toward him. "Oh my gosh. Are we here?"

"Aye." He gets up.

I follow, and he holds out a jacket. I slide into it and he leads us off the plane. A huge SUV is waiting on the runway. It takes thirty minutes until we get to a building.

I question, "Where are we?"

"My penthouse."

"Ya have a penthouse?" I shriek.

He winces.

"Sorry!"

He nods. "I do. Ya want to see it?"

"Duh!"

We go inside the building and up to the top floor. When the elevator doors open, the entire city seems to light up in front of us. All the walls are glass.

I stand frozen in awe. I finally mutter, "Wow. It's quite a view, isn't it?"

"It is," he agrees, his lips twitching.

I continue glancing around. Then I ask, "Do ya not have houses like Brody and Alaina do in New York?"

He smiles. "No. There are houses like that close by. My dad lives in one. We actually have a wing over there."

"We have a wing?" I ask, shocked.

Amusement fills his expression. "We do."

I tilt my head. "So ya have a wing at your da's, but ya also have this penthouse?"

"Aye, I do. It's where I come for privacy."

I glance around, declaring, "It's really nice."

"Glad ya approve. Take a seat. There should be some—" The doorbell rings, cutting him off.

He announces, "And there are our people."

"People? What people?" I ask.

"Our people. So you have everything you need while you're here."

"What do ya mean?"

"Well, ya need clothes, don't ya? Unless ya want to stay naked the entire time we're here. I'm okay with that." He grins.
