"Admit it," I order.
She opens her eyes. "Yes, babes. You're the hottest man I've ever laid eyes on."
I arrogantly declare, "I thought so."
She shakes her head again.
I lean closer. "Okay, time for the real question."
Botan places three dishes in front of us and points at each, stating, "Stone crab with uni aioli. Toro tartare with Osetra puree. And lastly, katsuo sashimi, bonito fish with white onion puree."
"Wow! This looks amazing," Maeve gushes.
I pick up a chopstick. I pinch the toro between the wood and hold it toward Maeve's lips. "Try this, sunshine."
She does and closes her eyes. "Mmm."
"Good, huh?" I ask.
She nods, chews, and swallows. "That's delicious!"
"Told ya." I hit the button on the remote and lower the vibrations.
She arches her eyebrows. "Ah. Trying to give me some relief, are ya?"
I grin, admitting, "Aye. I know how to keep ya hot and bothered all night until you're begging me to be inside ya."
Her cheeks flush again. It's total innocence. And I fucking love it.
I take a bite of the fish, chew it, and swallow. Then I take another sip of beer.
Mischief lights up Maeve's expression. She coyly asserts, "I dare ya to put my panties on and wear them for the rest of the night."
I choke on my mouthful of beer, wipe my lips with the napkin, then shake my head. "No way. They're too small and will cut into my balls."
She smirks. "So my husband's a quitter?"
I scoff. "No, I'm not a quitter."
"Sounds like ya are," she challenges.
I groan and scrub my hand over my face.
"Quitter," she taunts.
I slide my hand into her hair and tug her head backward.
She gasps.
I warn, "One thing ya should know about your husband is that I never quit."
She keeps her gaze on me, asserting, "Then ya better go put those panties on, babes."
I study her for another moment, and she doesn't flinch. I release her. "Fine. Fuck it. Don't eat all the food."
"I won't," she chirps.
I go into the bathroom stall, remove my shoes and slacks, and pull out her panties. I smell them once more.
