“Fuck, Mananan, touch me. I want your hands on me,” she begged. Mananan’s hands moved to slide up her thighs and cupped her ass. He matched her rhythm, moving his hips up to meet hers.

Ella’s whole body felt like it was turning to liquid. She cried out his name as she came again. Everything was bright and glittery, her body knowing exactly what it wanted and was taking it.

“Permission to take over?” Mananan asked, kissing her back to reality.

Ella touched his face and kissed him. “Yes, my love. Take me how you want me.”

Mananan’s soft expression went primal, and she was suddenly on her knees. He shoved a pillow under her to lift her up. Ella was too come drunk to be embarrassed about being so exposed with her ass in the air. Mananan ran his hands over her hips and back, his touch loving and possessive. He slid his cock back inside of her, and Ella almost levitated. She gripped the sheets, every one of his deep thrusts making her cry out in ecstasy. He gripped her hips, driving into her with controlled strokes that had him hitting something deep and aching inside of her she hadn’t known existed.

Tears were running down her cheeks, her whole body alive and raw and wanted all at the same time. Mananan came with her name on his lips, and warmth flood her insides. He was shaking as he gently slipped free from her. He lay down beside her and stroked the damp hair and tears from her face.

Mananan was staring at her full of wonder. She kissed him slow and softly, wanting to imprint the moment into her heart and mind forever. She finally went to move, but he held on to her.

“No, you’re staying here with me,” he growled, pulling her up against his chest.

“You don’t care that I’m sweaty and dripping come?” she asked, a laugh escaping her.

Mananan kissed her and rolled to pin her under him. He had a feral look in his eye again. “You are exactly how and where I want you, Marella. I want to be imprinted on your skin so every fae in all of Albion knows exactly who you belong to.”

Ella’s heart glowed. “You want me bad, huh?”

“Woman, you’re the only thing I want,” he replied and kissed her until she was senseless. If only he knew what his words meant to her.

Ella wrapped herself around him and held on tight. “You’re the only thing I want too, Manan.”

Mananan knew he was in for a long day when Taranis arrived at breakfast with Killian and Bron. He was carrying a large bag and wearing a wide fangy smile that he usually got when he was about to do something wildly dangerous or wildly violent. In this case, it was both.

“I have bombs to fuck up horde creatures. Eat quickly. We have shit to do,” Taranis declared.

Under the table, Ella’s hand tightened on Mananan’s thigh where it had been resting. He hadn’t claimed her the night before, but he felt a deep sense of satisfaction and contentment all the same. She was touching him whenever she could because she wanted to, and that made him even happier.

“When was the last time you slept, Taran?” Mananan asked, looking him over. He was almost vibrating with energy.

“Does it matter? I feel great. Ready to hunt!” he declared. Magical problems tended to make Taranis manic at the best of times, but he must’ve cooked up something special to deal with them.

Everyone else ignored Taranis’s jitters, and Mananan introduced Bron and Killian to Ella. She didn’t shake their hands, but they didn’t seem to mind.

“It’s nice to finally meet you, Ella,” Killian replied. His green eyes missed nothing as they looked between her and Mananan. “I trust my uncle has been takinggood careof you during your stay.” Bron shot her mate a warning glare. Like the rest of the fae present, Killian couldn’t miss the fact that Ella had Mananan’s scent all over her.

Ella only grinned at his cheeky nephew. “Very good care, thank you. Are you going hunting horde creatures today too?”

“We have been trying to weed them out for the past few months. The location you saw in Wales is close to where Imogen and I last cleared out a nest, so we thought we would tag along,” Bron replied. She was wearing Kynan’s sword on her back, and Mananan’s heart felt bruised just looking at. He missed his brother.

If he had still been alive, Kynan would have been the one he would’ve gone to for advice about Ella. It had been on the tip of his tongue to tell her everything the night before, but everything had been too perfect. He hadn’t wanted to ruin the moment by bringing in his messy feelings and even messier mating bond. He didn’t want Ella to think it was affecting how much he wanted her.

“Mananan’s brain doesn’t seem to be focused on hunting at all today,” Taranis said loud enough to make him jump. “Wake up, brother!”

Bayn groaned from the other side of the table. “Will you calm the fuck down? Some of us only just got out of bed.”

Taranis helped himself to a plate of only bacon and sat down. “We need to get rid of these altars and try and flush out the big game. I want to see this unholy Fomorian terror for myself so I can kill it and dissect its body.”

“Why would you want to dissect it?” Ella asked curiously.

“Because it’s something I’ve never seen before, and I want to know how it all works.”

Ella chewed on some toast, unbothered by the gory subject. “I’ve been thinking more about the attack on the lighthouse. It might have seen me in the vision, but how could it track me if I was never in the water? The creature could have its own type of magic, but what if it’s more than that?”
