“Fuck, Doc,” he growled as he lost his rhythm, slammed inside of her, and let himself fly off the edge of that cliff into the sweet ecstasy that was his mate.
His wolf howled inside of him as he emptied himself inside of her, and they rode out their pleasure together. His gums tingled as he fought the urge to let his fangs slide down and bite into her shoulder. Finally able to take in another breath, Rex did so and looked down at the woman that had thoroughly rocked his world and had him re-evaluating his life from a different perspective. She was the most beautiful creature he had ever met.
Bright blue eyes looked up at him, sated and half-closed. Her lips tipped up in a smile. “You have no idea how hot you are when you’re restrained and naked.”
Rex grinned down at her. “I’m glad you think so.” He dropped his head down a couple inches and pressed his lips to hers. When he pulled back a bit, he whispered against her lips, “I love everything you do to me.”
“Well, that’s good, because I have no intention of stopping.”
Rex kissed her lips again as he withdrew from her. When he reached down to take hold of the base of the condom, he realized he never put one on.Fuck!

She let out a sigh, then she chuckled. “So… we should know better at our age, but alas, we do not.”
“Shifters don’t contract human STDs, and before you ask, no I don’t know how that is medically possible, and no, I’m not going to be your guinea pig while you try to figure out why.”
“We’ll discuss that again another time,” she said, letting him know he hadn’t talked himself out of herresearch. “Pregnancy is another matter, obviously, since you said Nevaeh’s mother is full-human.”
He nodded and opened his mouth to confirm, but she started speaking again.
“Luckily, I’ve been on the pill for as long as I can remember. I have no desire to have children. Beast is enough for me.”
“So… we’re probably good.”
She nodded.
He nipped her bottom lip. “That’s good… because I liked feeling just you.”
“And the warming lube.”
He chuckled. “And that.” He kissed his way down her neck as he shifted off of her. “I’ll be back to clean you up.”

AsJolenewatchedhimprepare coffee the next morning, she had a hard time not dragging him back to her bedroom. He was wearing nothing but his jeans, which were unbuttoned, and his hair was loose and wild. It made her think about how much fun they had making it that way.
After cleaning her up the night before, he started at her ankles and kissed his way up her body, not missing an inch. It was lazy and playful, but it also had a sensual edge that had her desperately wanting him by the time he made it to her lips. Without saying a word, she had wrapped her legs around his waist.
The man was good with clues, because he arched a brow and grinned a moment before he slid inside of her. That time it was all about soft caresses and a slow, steady pace, nothing urgent or creative.
When she woke up in his arms, loose and relaxed, and not remembering the last time she had been that way, she decided the man had earned a reward. Between the massage, the cuddling on the couch, and the sex, she felt refreshed. It wasn’t something she was used to.
He moaned into her neck and tightened his arm around her waist. “I don’t want to get up.”

“Is it cold still?”
He nodded, but after a few moments, he said, “It’s getting warmer now.”
