Ten minutes later we’re good to go and hiding behind the anonymity of our outfits, we head down to the street below.
I grip her hand hard as Kyle stands to one side, shaking his head with a resigned smile.

“Right back at you, Kyle. Now go and spend time with your woman. We leave in the morning.”
“His woman?” Allegra whispers and I nod. “Your friend. Cecilia, I think her name is.”
“Oh my god, she’s here.” Allegra’s voice changes in an instant from worry to happiness and I whisper, “If you’re a good girl and do everything I tell you, maybe we will catch up with them at dinner.”
“You mean that?” Her eyes shine with excitement, and I glance at Kyle, who rolls his eyes. “I was going to order room service.”
