I laughed once and nodded, my whole body shaky. “That was incredible.”

He shrugged, a pleased smile on his face. “I’m glad you liked it.”

I reached for him and pulled him close for a kiss. He tasted like me, the flavor of my cum on his tongue and lips, and the kiss was hotter than anything I’d ever experienced. We lay there for a long time, kissing slowly, catching our breath, until eventually I pulled away. “Thank you.”

Parker smirked. “Anytime.” After a beat, he sighed. “I should probably get going, though. We have kickball practice tonight.”

I groaned in disappointment. I wouldn’t have minded if we’d just stayed there all night, blowing each other and kissing until we’d recovered and doing it all over again. “You sure you don’t want to stay for round two?”

He laughed and rolled onto his back. “You get one little taste of sex and you’re insatiable already?”

“What can I say? I had a good first experience and I wouldn’t mind repeating it.”

He sat up and leaned down to kiss me once more. “Next time, I’ll show you what it’s like to shower together.”

I shivered in anticipation. “Can’t wait.”

Chapter Fifteen

Parker

LeavingTravis’splace, awarm glow surrounded me, a tug in my chest urging me to stay with him. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d had sex with someone and wanted to stick around. It was a new sensation and I tried to shake it off. Instead of dwelling on the feelings I was having, I rushed home to change into something a little more suitable for playing kickball and going out for drinks. There was no way I was running around the field in nice jeans and a sweater. I knew I was going to be late, but I hoped I could claim wedding planning had held me up. They’d totally believe that—right?

At home, I threw on some beat-up jeans and a long-sleeve t-shirt, capped off by a beat-up pair of sneakers. Before I left, I looked around to make sure everything was in place, turning off the lights behind me. My house felt so empty without him. He hadn’t even spent the night, but I missed having him in my space.

By the time I got to the field and climbed out of the car, my team was in place and Ethan was running the bases, Bennett and Cam scrambling after a ball that was sailing into the outfield. I rushed out and took a place in right field that was open, to friendly ribbing from the rest of the guys.

“Sorry,” I called. “We spent all afternoon trying on suits.”

“Sure you did,” Jared said with a smile and an eye roll as he caught the ball being tossed in his direction. I grinned and flipped him off and practice continued.

An hour and a half later, we crowded around a table at Jock Strap, laughing and rehashing practice. After a while of that, the conversation turned to the wedding. I told them all about the venue we’d picked, the menu we’d selected, and everything else I could think of. I even told them about the disastrous night in the mountains and how we nearly froze to death. I got to the part about picking out our suits last.

With that, Jared swiveled to face me. “So, that’s what made you so late to practice, huh?”

I avoided his gaze and picked at a napkin instead. “Yeah, like I literally just said, we were trying on tuxes.”

Cam piped up. “I don’t think trying on tuxes takes that long.”

“Yeah,” said Theo. “It certainly didn’t takeusa whole afternoon.”

“How do you know when we started?” I took a sip of my beer and tried to deflect.

“Didn’t youjustsay your appointment was at, like, one this afternoon?” Bennett asked, grabbing a chip from the basket in the middle of the table and shoving it in his mouth.

“God, you guys have such good memories aboutmyschedule.” I flipped them off with both hands and hoped that was the end of it.

“It’s weird, you know?” Theo said after a moment of silence.

I rolled my eyes. “You guys are going to have to let this tux thing go.”

Theo shook his head. “No, that’s not what I was talking about. I mean, it’s weird that you’re not, like, scoping this place for guys.”

I frowned, furrowing my brow. “What do you mean?”

“Yeah,” Levi agreed. “You’re usually looking for your next hookup, not blushing over your boyfriend.”

“Fiancé,” I corrected. “And I’m not always looking for a hookup immediately after practice.”
