“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Reid Harris,” a female voice says before a familiar, tall brunette steps in front of me and leans forward to kiss both of my cheeks.

“Long time no see,” I say, a genuine smile pulling at my lips at the sight of an old friend.

“You could say that,” she purrs, making a show of checking me out. “You’ve sure… grown.”

“Could say the same about you,” I mutter. I can’t help but notice the increase in her chest since I last saw her.

“You like?” she says, thrusting them together. She’s not trying to tempt me. Aubrey knows I won’t be going there. But it doesn’t stop her from being a shameless flirt.

Our paths crossed a few years ago when I was out of town meeting a supplier. She turned up in the bar I was drinking in with her sights set on a mark. I got the pleasure of watching him fall hook, line, and sinker for every single one of her moves.

It was impressive. Really fucking impressive.

They disappeared for her to finish the job, and I assumed that would be the last I ever saw of her. But to my surprise, an hour or so later, she stalked back through the bar, looking as calm and collected as she had previously. But this time, she was practically glowing with accomplishment.

I’ve no idea what she did with or to the guy that night. Even after introducing myself and buying her a drink, she never gave me the details. I didn’t need those though to understand it was all a honeytrap. And color me intrigued. We spent almost all night in that bar chatting.

We’ve spoken a couple of times since, and we met up once when her work landed her close to Harrow Creek.

“They’re… certainly distracting.”

“They work like a charm,” she says with a wink.

“Those losers really don’t know how unlucky they are,” I tease.

“So,” she purrs, threading her arm through mine and continuing in the direction I was heading, “I assume my first-class ticket to Harrow Creek for more than a social visit.”

“You would assume correctly.”

“OUT,” I bark the second we step into the kitchen.

Ellis looks up, unconcerned about my demand, while everyone else practically piss their pants, rushing to follow orders.

Glancing from me to Aubrey, Ellis stands from his computer and lowers the lid, intrigue clear in his eyes.

“Thought you were having too much fun at home to grace us with your presence,” he teases.

I grunt, remembering what I was distracted by when we spoke before.

“Ellis, this is Aubrey,” I say, introducing them instead of continuing with his topic of conversation. “Aubrey, this is my little brother and IT geek, Ellis.”

They smile at each other, although Ellis eyes her warily.

“I need you to grab some intel for her. She’s going to help us out.”

Ellis’s eyes find mine and narrow.

“Are you sure that’s a good idea?” he asks, correctly guessing what I’m going to ask her to do.

Irritated by his lack of confidence in her, Aubrey crosses her arms under her ample tits, pushing them up.

His gaze drops, but only briefly. He’s about as distracted by them as I am.

“I’m a professional, Ellis,” she states coldly. “And I can assure you that I’ve got intel out of more powerful and dangerous men than you’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.”

“Right,” he mutters, irritated by her assessment.

“I’ll need times, dates, and details about what you want out of the mark. I promise you that I’ll get exactly what you need.”
