He was right behind her, shouting her name as he froze, then shuddered with his climax.

He braced himself over her, breathing hard. “You okay?”

“I’m so okay.” She laughed. “Except for being mad at you for keeping us from doing that for the past four months.”

“Can’t talk about that,” he said. He pulled in a long breath, then dropped down next to her. He gathered her close. “That’s over.”

She sucked in air and nodded. “Okay.”

They lay, cuddling for a few minutes, him stroking her hair, her running her hand up and down his arm.

Eventually he pushed up and padded away, she assumed to the bathroom to cleanup. When he came back to bed, he simply pulled the covers up over them, tugged her against him with her back to his chest, and wrapped a big heavy arm around her.

“Beau,” she started.

“Shhh,” he said into the back of her hair.

So she did.

* * *

Beau had wokenup hung over before.

He’d also woken up in a good mood before. That had happened less often, but it had happened.

When he rolled over and pried his eyes open the next morning, he realized that he was feeling a little bit of both.

And he didn’t really understand either one at first.

Okay, nota little bitof both. He was definitely hung over. But he also felt pretty good. Like he was in a good mood. He scrubbed a hand over his face. What the hell was that about?

It must’ve been a great party.

Slowly, bits and pieces came back to him.

Vegas.

He was in Vegas. And there had been…okay, less of a party and more of an Autre-Does-Vegas night on the town with his friends and cousins. Of course, it had been a good time. A rip-roarin’-lots-of-liquor-over-the-top-make-bad-decisions-crazy time.

They’d had plenty of those times back in Autre, so put them all in Las Vegas and… well, anything could happen.

And probably had.

He opened his mouth and smacked his lips together. Yeah, that dry mouth and thick tongue were definitely hangover symptoms. As was the dull jackhammer at the back of his head.

The room was only dimly lit, sunlight barely filtering in through the heavy drapes.

Las Vegas knew what it was doing.

But what about this good mood? Yeah, the night had been great, but there was something just on the edge of his consciousness that was making him feel especially happy.

He stretched and reached his arms out in both directions. He was in a huge bed. Alone…

His eyes widened suddenly. He’d had sex last night.

That came rushing back to him. Sweet sighs, husky moans, his name being cried out at orgasm, the feel of hard nipples and silky skin, the sweet taste of a pussy…

He sat up quickly. And instantly regretted it. He rested his head in his hands.
