“Leave my sister alone, dude. You’ve already pissed off Lea, don’t add another female your list.”

“Fuck off, that was Fox, not me.”

I cocked my eyebrow, still hoping he’d explain what the hell happened there and why they now couldn’t be in the same room together.

“Lea will be here tonight,” Ionee reminded them. “So I want you boys on your best behavior otherwise my next show will be calledthe balls of my best friend’s enemies. Are we clear?”

Charlie nodded, and Fox mumbled something under his breath that I couldn’t make out.

“Right, beautiful. I will see you back here tonight.” I pressed a kiss to her temple. “Have I told you how proud I am of you?”

She playfully nudged me with her hip and then she leaned in closer, pressing her lips to my ear. “Have I told you that I love how much you trust me with those ropes?”

I looked around at the different paintings, feeling proud and slightly aroused that they were all positions I’d been in. Rope wrapped around me by her hand. Giving me the permission to let go and submit in a way that I’d been craving for such a long time.

“I love you, Archer.”

“I love you too.”

“You didn’t sell my painting, did you?” I whispered against Nee’s neck.

“Arch,” she cried, spinning and flinging her arms around me. Her enthusiasm whenever we’d been apart was infectious.

She wore a long, floaty, dark teal dress that had a low cut V front and back, showing off her pale skin. Her hair was styled around a white silk head band and her silver jewelry and tan colored boots gave her that boho look that suited her perfectly. I groaned into her neck as I breathed her in. “You look stunning.”

“Did you have a good time in the studio?” she asked as she pulled away, raking her fingers through my hair.

“I did, but let’s focus on my talented girlfriend’s second show, shall we? Are you good? Is everything going to plan?”

I looked around. The room, which was the same one she used last time, seemed even busier and I couldn’t help my proud smile as I saw that most of the pieces had sold already.

“It’s going well. I have to go give a speech. You wanna insult my art to inspire me like last time?”

“I knew that speech was for me,” I laughed.

“I’m so grateful your sisters brought you that night. I can’t imagine a world where you’re not in it.”

“We’re meant to be together. It’s written in the stars. Fated.”

She giggled. “You’re so cheesy.”

Before I could argue that she knew I was right, Lea appeared next to Nee, waving at me, before glaring at Fox and Charlie, who were standing nearby. “It’s time, lady. You ready?”

“Got to go, although just so you know, I’ve got a gift for you later,” she told me, her voice low so only I could hear.

“A gift?”

“A gift,” she winked before turning to walk to the stage so she could thank everyone for coming and tell them about the inspiration for her show… although I was one of the few people who knew that was me.

Ionee

“Areyouokay,Lea?”

My friend turned and smiled, but I knew it was fake. “I’m good. I’m excited about tonight. I love how different this show is to your last one. It’s so hot.”

I wiggled my eyebrows.

“Does he really like being tied up that much?”
