Aidan lowered to one knee and took Lily’s hand.

“You have to ask, not tell me.”
“That’s not how things work in our marriage,” he said.

He grinned. “Lily, will you fucking marry me?”

He tugged her down onto his lap and kissed that cheeky mouth of hers until she was breathless.

Aidan tugged his jacketand held his hand out. Lily took it and stepped out of the car.
Fuck, she looked gorgeous.
He tugged her against him, and she planted a hand on his chest. He let out a growl. “Lily, kiss me,”
“I will kiss youafterwe say our vows. I’m sure it's bad luck beforehand.”
“I had my cock inside you an hour ago.” He shook his head.
“You’re late,” Logan said, standing on the steps of city hall behind them. Emma came running down and the two women hugged when he released his soon-to-be wife.
“Ring first,” Emma demanded, and Lily lifted her hand.
It had been a battle to get Lily to choose a sizable diamond. She didn’t want anything flashy. He told her it was part of fitting into the billionaire’s life, and she’d slapped his arm.
But Aidan knew she was smart enough to work it out. In the end, they’d settled on a five-carat square diamond on a plain gold band.
